Hi Cyndi, I’m new-actually on the verge of enrolling in the CofV masterclass. It has been great talking with LeeAnn. I’ve been following some recent ASTA press releases. I’m concerned about the liability of being a home agency, with the senate passing the amended FAA Reauthorization bill (H.R. 3935). This is the “rule that leaves travel agencies on the hook for providing airline refunds in cases where they are the merchant of record.” How is this going to affect us and what are the workaround options? Thanks! Lorelei

My wife want to become a travel agent as way to work from home. We are thinking in the beginning a contractor working on a % commission is better idea. Do you know any reputable companies that hire and certify newbies? We are afraid of being scammed

Hi..I am an interested person wanting to get certified. I will do the work to learn how to book trips. I just need the right platform so I can do a great job and have customers return. I dont know a thing about the business but I want to learn..Im an older adult though and I am concerned if this will be an issuse. If not Im in. Thanks for the information as I am considering working for a host company for learning purposes.
