Realtors can only give real time information when it comes to certain questions. Is it a good time to buy? The answer is relative to a Persons, financial situation, goals, and ambitions… I think some of the conversation with You Tube agents is going another direction, because the cost of homes are high on the gulf coast. The conversation for agents is no longer affordability, but what the options are for the budget you have. You have to be fair to Realtor’s because this is their source of income selling homes no matter the market…

Hey, I appreciate your understanding of the real estate profession. If the data was pointing to an imminent crash, I would talk about it even if my income was going to be hit. I don't want to mislead anyone. This is a tricky market, though, for many, especially when one compares the prices to 2020. I get it.

Renting in the area that you’re thinking of moving to. That sounds like a really good suggestion, however where is it possible to rent some thing for a month or two? I would think that most rentals are going to be six months minimum likely one year

Hi Katrin, is it ok for a potential buyer to ask why a home is for sale? Also, is it ok for a potential buyer from the Midwest to ask about utility costs for a home, as the AC in Florida gets a lot more use than the AC in Illinois? Also is asking about landscaping & water costs for a home considered ok?

You can ask your realtor anything you would like. But your realtor most likely will not be able to answer question # one. No issues at all with two and three!

How is telling me information that is freely available considered discrimination ? More likely it's because the realtor doesn't want to lose the sale. This is so clearly a case of freedom of speech and could be overturned if realtors would fight it.
