I actually have done a test styled like this that's not an iq test.In an 11+ we know this as non verbal reasoning and that also includes things like cube nets.

In my experience, an IQ of 135 (so top 1%) is really all you need to get access to basically all the opportunities. The most important factor is ambition and motivation.

Not really. As the video said, iq is a poor measurement because it neglects too many other factors, such as emotional intelligence, creativity, street smarts etc. It's not good to simplify a person's opportunities to a number. Luck also plays a factor, otherwise why wouldn't all the ambitious + charismatic 200 iq entrepreneurs be billionaires? And even without luck, you'll never become the very best at something like chess without at least 200 iq

@@noyoo2645 I don't think you understood what I was saying. When I say opportunities, I mean like programs you can only enter with certain standardized test scores. (In America) Most standardized tests (bar the SAT and ACT) cap out at 99th percentile, which is equivalent to 135 iq.

@@totallynotpaul6211You’re completely wrong. Standardized tests aren’t 100% correlated with IQ. They’re not related whatsoever. The ACT and SAT measure the things you learned it high school. Again, having absolutely nothing to do with IQ at all.

@@meepcheep314 Do some research please 🙏 IQ tests and SAT scores correlate very strongly. The SAT does not measure what you've learned in high school. And that's not its purpose. If the SAT was meant to measure what you've learned, don't you think it would have science, history, and foreign language questions? IQ and SAT scores correlate about as much as an SAT score correlates with a second SAT score.

Well, there is different forms of "intelligence" IQ just measures "Intellectual Intelligence" or your ability to learn new stuff and how easy it is for you to learn it.

I have no idea if this is correct, but E would look the most in place having looked at the pattern (top right to bottom left; the triangles “fold down” kind of).

My guess is C. The top column, left to right has 3 white triangles. The middle column has 2 white triangles Following the pattern of a decreasing amount of white triangles, I would assume that the lowest column has only 1 white triangle. Thus, I think that the answer is C, because it is the only solution which would allow the continuation of the decreasing number of white triangles.

Its A or E If you look at it closely you can see that the pieces in the corners do not have the same patterns as the ones closest to them. Now if you look in the diagonal line going top right to bottem left you can see that there all fully shaded. Both of these remove options D, C, F, B. We need to figure this out. Write ur answers as a replie

I disagree that iq tests don’t measure creativity, creativity is almost purely a factor of your ability to motivate unique ideas and that’s very correlated with iq

@@lucario4486 Yeah you are more accurate, IQ mostly represents pattern recognition, short term memory, and long term memory. In an IQ test you are also asked to repeat numbers that get longer every time (up to 17 digits in my case). While they often go hand in hand, because generally people with an high IQ pick up information easily, its not the same thing.

I think Iq is more like logical intelligence, and empathetic intelligence is more of feelings and is kinda hard to calculate it..

If i remember correctly iq is a measure of two different factors your ability to absorb knowledge and your ability to use said knowledge in critical and logical ways it unfortunately meglects creative arts and other things in which high iq is rarely a necessity.

Its F. Explanation- A, B, C, D , and E all match the "shapes" of the picture shown. If u flip or don't at all like A already match up with box 4, they would match but F on the other hand is the only shape that doesn't fit any of the shapes so the answer must be F.

I took a real iq test in person at around 9 or 10 and my iq was 147, and there a few questions I knew I got wrong at first but was too nervous to go back and change them since there was somebody in front of me watching me. I used to feel really smart but now I don’t because my want for learning new things has diminished because everybody would think I was weird because I would use long or archaic words and nobody would understand what I was saying, so I kinda was like what’s the point of learning new things if I can’t use them without people not understanding me or calling me a nerd

For children yes, Modern IQ tests measure your offspring's natural reasoning and abstract capabilities. But for adults it gets into the "ehh??" territory.
