I can relate to this a lot. I'm doing Angamardana for 8 months now and my body went trough different transformations. And it still is. Angamardana feels to me like an army Swiss knife of body fitness. And doing it daily makes a huge difference compared to doing it 3 or 4 times a week. I'm still at the beginning of my yoga journey, but I am so excited of the things to come. Thank you for sharing your experience, it was good to hear somebody else's experience with Angamardana.

@@rajitshekhar I'm currently waiting for the lockdown in our country to be loosened, so that I can finally learn Suriya Namaskar. In the moment I'm more interested in the spiritual aspect of yoga and I had the impression that Suriya Namaskar would make sense in this regard. Do you agree? But I'm doing a lot of bodyweight strength training (calisthenics). Though I'm not sure if I will keep it up in this pace. Since Angamardana I'm getting the feeling that I do more harm than good to my body. It is fun, but a lot of stress for the body and sometimes I wonder if it is more for the ego than health. So I'm also thinking about yogasanas, but I'm not quite there yet 😅

For the spiritual aspects, it's Surya kriya and Yogasnas. Other practices are more inclined towards physical aspects. It's best if you speak with a hatha yoga teacher to plan your journey. For me sadhanapada also helped me to understand my spiritual journey. Please watch the below video to understand the difference between Surya namaskaram and Surya kriya. 😊🙏

I am 31 and am preparing for few exams that need 165Cm. I am 164.5Cm. I heard for many have height reduced due to bad postures of sitting and some height is hidden because backbone got curved. Since Angamardana is a lot about backbone, can I get that 0.5Cm upon regular Angamardana?

In my experience hatha yoga is not something you practice to achieve something. You should practice Angamardana as it is without any target. Your physical form may or may not change for your requirement by practicing Angamardana but whatever happens should be able to prepare you for advance spiritual possibility. Don't chase half a CM, there are millions of other things that might need your attention. There was a video where Sadhguru explained about physical form. If I find it than I'll send you the link. Namaskaram anna. After doing for 7 months straight I had to stop my practices for some infection issue. Now starting again by watching some related videos. You videos is one of them :) I am only curious if you do each asana thrice or once and how much total time now after one year :)

Namaskaram Anna, Glad you are starting again. Trust me even me practicing it daily, I'm sure, I must be doing few things incorrectly. As you have already been initiated into Angamardana, you can find any local hatha yoga teacher for clarification over phone or email. Further I would advise to either go for guided session or correction session. Namaskaram Akka, If you body is hurting than you are pushing too hard. Just do the best of your capability and do it slowly, yes I meant very slow. Yesterday after waking up I was not feeling fit enough to do any hatha yoga as my knee was also hurting but I started saying I'll do what body allows. So, I did Angamardana very very slowly and my awareness was how all the parts of the body was behaving. So, just comment to do it today to the best of your capability. 😊🙏

Yes sir. For me first the fat around the muscles burned than little bit of muscle build up happened. This was like my body came to its natural shape. After this the muscles shape and size has remained the same.

Anna, Sadhanapada helped me to practice it daily. If you commit to do it daily than you will even wake up early and make time for it. That is what I've done. I wake up early and do all the yoga and kriya so, I'm ready to face the day. Try committing to do it daily no Matter what. 🙂🙏

It was Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya which made it possible for me to do Angamardana and it brought health and wellbeing to me.
