P.S. BANG PD went to B-Free's company to talk to him after he heard "that" interview. B-Free (like the coward that he is) refused to meet Bang PD face to face. So that night, Bang PD took the BTS members to a nice dinner and comforted them. Then he posted on Twitter something along the lines of: "It's okay to give constructive criticism but why did you have to come to BTS' celebration and bully kids so much younger than you. We all need to think about what it means to be a better adult." This just reminded me of Namjoon addressing the haters at PTD Vegas Concert and his VLive recently. He had amazing role models and mentors. PPS. B-Free is arrested again for assault and starting "beef" on Instagram with other rappers. Never grew and never learned.

Omg, thank you so much for sharing this. It makes sense for me now, and I appreciate Armys taking the time to inform me about all these things (since I'm new to the fandom and I've never been a fan before to any, this is my first time) . Now the amount of respect I have for Army and BTS is even more sky-rocketing. The boys and Bang-PD nim have such rich history, and it's so beautiful to uncover it. Really, thank you

Aneesa said that it is not her story to tell, that's why they made this docu like this with all videos, with the boys almost telling the story by themselves. Because only BTS can tell it, that's why they didn't put a narrator for the docu.

What I also really loved about this episode was how it contextualized struggles of Korean youth at that time alongside BTS' performance of N.O so you can really see why their music and lyrics resonated with so many young people that time. They were truly representing struggles and stories of their people, that's why they're so powerfu. 💜

I think it's an Asian thing cuz freedom of expression is not encouraged here. From the minute you start school you're taught to listen only to the authoritative figure and gender is only Male or Female. The rest of LGBT is sweep under the rug. I live in a country where it's illegal to be gay and you can get 20 years jail time if caught. ( isn't that messed up ) At least Taiwan now gays can get married. It's a first step for all of Asia where most if not all those in politics are old, closed minded men. On the other hand, the younger generation in Asia, are more accepting of each other. Just the other day a Female politician,in parliament, in Japan was LAUGHED at by a bunch of old farts for saying - there's a need to protect teenagers from the porn industry since the adult age has been changed from 21 to 18 ( I think ). In the west, it would be like, wtf are they laughing about? I'm not from Japan but that's just creepy to me. I hope Japan Army will come out to support that Female politician. Thank God there's Army. It's good to know we can come out to be kind and help each other. True Army never Hate, just Love. Sorry so long.💜

I understand the language so I can speak more to this issue. First of all, none of BTS members are feminine to me. On stage, they may perform w a gentler demeanor for a specific album or song’s theme. Off stage, Like V lives or little get together clips, or even Run BTS, I can tell the way they speak/act is quite tough. If you see their early hip hop period performances, they are tough and powerfully performing. Because that was how they wanted to do their music. Then, since one needs to read the music market and go w the trend, sometimes just for the sake of continuing/surviving (due to many different circumstantial reasons at that time in Korea), people need to make some changes. So, they ‘shifted’ their direction to more of a boy group /idol group, from ‘hip hop warrior type, it’s a strategic shift. and it worked! And also, big hit was able to survive from the financial meltdown they could have faced. We might have not being able to enjoy BTS like now if they didn’t shift their strategy, then. Because once things go down, they go down, especially in Korea. It also didn’t mean BTS ‘ditched’ their ‘hiphop-ness’. That’s how we got to hear cypher series and ddang, etc, right? And I never (and most of Koreans) felt they were ‘feminine’. It just sound ‘off’ to me. Maybe ‘gentle or soft look’, but never feminine…and none of them are gay either. Pls, bts members don’t like to be labeled or commented as that bc simply they are just not! Koreans are pretty close and affectionate between same sex and that’s bc they are so close like brothers n sisters. We put hand in hand , hugs, and even sleep next to each other on trips, bc it’s like a pj party, etc. Why thing always need to be that way. And the other thing is A LOT of things get lost in translation. So pls if anyone is a real fan, pls let them be and don’t label them ‘until’ things get officially disclosed. I can’t believe some real fans believe and try to ship members like that. How uncomfortable they would feel to hear that? I see these pure hearted, hard working men, giving all they’ve got or more to fans… so I do think we should just ‘appreciate’ them and their artistry but nothing else that may make them feel uncomfortable. it’s not Asian thing, it’s not bc bts are feminine. Just always try to see and recognize the truth, not others.

That is right. BTS clapped back! And that requires extreme bravery bc one can be ‘buried and dead’ socially and in every way, once the ‘authority’ or power majority label them negatively. But this young men group, who are fairly new at that time did ‘that’. I think that is why bts shouldn’t be never compared to any other Korean groups bc no one ever did and no one ever will. Just being extremely entertaining and excellent at what they’re doing is hard enough, but on top of it, impact on people’s lives in positive ways- all generations- spreading inspiring messages, go against injustice, fight for their passion/dream not to die, and being a role model for youth - this one is the most difficult bc they don’t have to do this. This position can get so easily criticized and scrutinized if one tiny false move and it is ‘not’ their responsibility to begin with. But they went ahead and took that role, humbly. People ( BTS ignorant people) really need to look into their journey before they say anything bad about them. Then, before they know it, they will become a fan, I know it!

Love watching this series with you guys! I became an ARMY only 2 years ago when the pandemic hit, and I was in not a very good place and BTS is literally what kept me going ♥️ I've come to know about their history and whenever I watch these things, it gives me such goosebumps because these guys have worked so hard right from the start. And the most amazing part is that whatever they were saying back then abou working hard for us and being grateful for us, they still say the same thing with maybe even stronger emotions. It's such a rare thing to see such humility in artists who are that level. And that is why nothing can compare to the love and respect that BTS and ARMY share with each other.

I'm getting some nuggets that I didn't know about BTS, and Korean culture as well. Seeing how tough it is to make it, and how hard they've had to work just solidifies my love for them, and my being an ARMY! They've brought so much love and light into the world these last 9 years, but most importantly, they've inspired and given hope to the Korean youth who are under so much pressure for perfection. I'm sure BTS didn't debut knowing they'd change the world, but they have in many ways, and they'll be forever loved for their presence...

I like it, I love it, I want more of it! This is such an amazing series. It's so well done. The editing is so dang good! Aneesa is a puppet master of our emotions. Respect to her. And watching it with you three is the absolute best! I feel like we are on this amazing ride together! That clip where "BFree" & his no clout crew spew their toxic masculinity/gate keeping all over RM & SUGA gets my blood boiling every time too! But the rest is pure joy, especially during the montage where "Attack on Bangtan " is played & where they read aloud their heart-felt letters to ARMY'S. They are so genuine, sweet, funny, cool, generous, hard working, humble & talented! How can anyone NOT love them all?! Lol I love you all too! BORAHAE Blaze Nico & AJJ!💜💜💜👑👑👑 BORAHAE Aneesa!💜🙏🏼 BORAHAE ARMY!💜🤟 BORAHAE BTS! OT7 4EVA! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇰🇷

All of this! 👏 I've watched most of the eps several times over but am most excited to watch here .. and the way you described the Tannies definitely applies to this wonderful trio as well 💜 *also, everything w. those so-called 'rappers' raises my blood pressure sky high & if there I definitely couldn't be as composed & would've destroyed them for sure 😠😤

BTS literally inspires everyone so much and I've never been more proud. The way they bring people together and write songs based on their true feelings and effort, is the reason I got N.O lyrics tattooed on me. I got "Don't be trapped in someone else's dream" over my heart. No regrets. I'm forever gonna be grateful for them and I hope they will always continue to shine and bring more people together

I'm so proud of SUGA and RM for taking the high road, and not going off on them. They didn't buy into it, or take the bait. That was a smear campaign, and it didn't work. They were professional and represented BTS and their company well. I wish they could have let them know just what they thought and how they felt, but it wasn't going to do any good because BFree wasn't listening. That's okay because Karma is an ARMY, and BFree got what he deserved.

I am so proud and inspired by their accomplishments. Not only as artists, but also as men. The amount of emotional trauma they had to go through at such young age is crazy. But they chose to become better, stronger and beckons of lights. I am old enough to be their mother, but I look up to them for inspiration and a boost when I am feeling blue. And I know that they are far from being done with their mission on Earth. God bless them.

I have never seen or heard of a group put so much into their love for their fans and I am 42 years old! They have a great love for what they do but the way they give themselves for us not them blows my mind! These boys deserve where they are and so much more! They are doing so much more for others than I think they realize. Few years back my daughter is in a dark place. She hated herself because that is what others burnt into her head. I would pray every night to just see a smile on her face once again. I was losing her. Then she found this group of angels and for the first time in 2 years I seen light in her. She laughed and smiled more. She began to love herself! I got my baby girl back! And I am certain my daughter is not the only one they have saved! With them it isn’t just how great they sing and perform but also how they hold each and every fan in their hearts! I just love this group of boys!!!!!

Yall! Once again, I love watching yall reacting to ANYTHING BTS related...it's always fun to rewatch things I may have already seen with you guys because it truly feels like I have ARMY friends. I agree with you Nico, it gives me goosebumps too because you can FEEL the genuine emotions that were coming from the guys. Blaze, droppin that quote, "jealousy and envy live in the same spring"...bruh...sounding much like a masterful lyric our guys would have said off the cuff! And very true! AJJ, I had the same flashback as you about you wanting to find that Bangtan Burger lol and also how upset you got at that clip with BF...and just checking out for a second and missing the next few words in the interview that you needed to rewind...same bro, same. Felt that. RM and Suga held it down in that interview, and we gotta remember how young they were at this time! The stats in the video are true, the pressures on the youth are so high in Korea...I used to always say that if I had gone to school in Korea, I definitely would have been part of those statistics, because I am nowhere near the level that society deems to be appropriate. I was so happy to know BTS recognized this problem and also the issue of mental health not being a "real thing"...even as a 1st generation Korean American, when I was diagnosed with MDD and Anxiety...and told some of my family, they reacted as if that is a Western notion and an excuse for not performing at a high level...which only deepened the dark place I live in. I was at one of my lows when BTS came on the scene...as corny as it is...their music somewhat helps me and may have saved me a time or two from just removing myself so as not to feel like a disappointment or burden to the world. Years later, even to this day...I have dark and bad days, and I'll have full blown crying sessions while blasting some BTS and really listening to the lyrics. I'm a work in progress...I think we all are...you never know what is going on in someone's mind or in their hearts, what storms they are trying to navigate through...so I try to be a kinder person as the years have gone by. I truly feel that Bangtan play a key role in that new mindset. I commend these 7 men for breaking barriers, being a voice for so many, and spreading awareness of issues that too many want to pretend isn't there. All while going through so much within themselves and their team, yet putting ARMY first and always thinking of us and thanking us. They've changed in the best ways, like believing more in themselves or being less shy and embracing their strengths...and they have NOT changed in the best ways, by always being humble and grateful kings and always working hard for what they love...their music, their label, ARMY, their families, and one another. Big thanks to you three for sharing another video with us. I appreciate yalls commentary and thoughts on whatever is the topic for the video. I love that you give appreciation back to the creators of any documentary or compilations or shoot even tik toks! Yall always say such nice things about the time and dedication that someone else put in to create something. Yall are also much appreciated and applauded for your time and efforts! Hope yall have a nice day. And to everyone who took the time to read this novel (sorry)...Stay Gold. L💜

i really like how this video is highlight the song N.O.! as they're exploring the heaviness of academics and the stress and weight of it on students. This song was made when most of BTS members would've gone through the same amount of stress if they didn't become idols. In a sense, this is the song they are singing to themselves and everyone else that has to go through that stress. BTS really grow up with you and you grow up with BTS and their songs too. The cycle, the connection, that is so real it's very intuitive for BTS to sing what the people, literally of their age, is going through. I feel like the school trilogy era is often underrated as a trilogy, as an era, but this era was probably the most important in terms of growth in children and BTS themselves. All the other eras were great in terms of growth as well, and it really got a lot more philosophical as time went on, but the school trilogy was something extreme and real to Korean teenagers. So much respect, so much love.

That was bullseye right there (20:14), Blaze, Sir. Jealousy happens when someone holds fiercely to their fragile self-identity because they perceive something as a threat that has the capacity to take them away from their place. Envy happens when they secretly desire what the other person has but balk at the work that entails achieving that that other person has.

I think everyone can loudly say that we are PROUD ARMYs....so BTS you've succeeded in your first goal after debut. In fact, you knocked that ball out of the park! Watching the vlogs and seeing them so raw and connecting with us on a personal level is what BTS is all about. They aren't traditional idols who are placed on pedestals and revered, instead they wake up and connected with who we are so it feels more like they are one of us rather than an unattainable star in the sky (which they totally are but the most humble stars!!) BTS FIGHTING!!!
