Mass Effect 2 and that walk through the disintegrating Normandy at the beginning. They could've just made it a quick cut scene and some text, but Bioware wisely made you walk to your impending doom.

I recently picked up Dragonage Inquisition in Epic Games' giveaway... I was not expecting it to run on my laptop - and when it did, I realised how much I needed to get a controller. That game got me through Lockdown #1 and was the last game I completed on my 360... I'm so looking forward to finally playing Trespasser.🎉

I might have included my favorite Star Wars game scene so far, Star Wars: Fallen Order, and the sight of AT-ATs rising out of the swampy water on Kashyyyk, those moss beards they had, and getting to clamber onto one while it's walking!

Persona 5 has a bunch of little moments that aren't plot-essential, but are still fun to experience. The scene where Morgana has to fake being a toy is one such. (Tip: pick "Time to button mash" and try not to laugh at what happens next.) The sum total of all those "depth" moments is probably one reason the game remains popular.

Whenever I play an elf or a Tal-Vashoth their internal dialogue is “are they coming closer? No. No wait. Hey this usually ends poorly when humans start to circle me. Are they singing? What the…. Ah no, go away! Stop, stop looking at me like that!”

The song in Dragon Age Inquisition is one of the great gaming moments. Dragon Age 1 had a similar moment when Leliana sang a song about the Elves in camp. Not as moving a moment as Inquisition but the song was hauntingly beautiful.

Sea of Thieves: Obtaining the Blessing of Athena's Fortune, one of the PvP Exclusive Cosmetics that makes you look etheral. There is a whole ceremony involved where many of the Characters you interact with across the game comes in and sings "We Shall Sail Together", where the Pirate Lord accepts you onto his crew. You can smuggle in your friends into the scene as well and have them join the celebration as well. It could have just been written off as "Oh, this curse is just in your chest now." Like many of the other Curse Cosmetics you can get, but its a huge celebration that they really didn't have to do.

The only scene that makes me cry more than the mordin death scene is when you pray with (or without) thanes son and it's so sad but also strangely fitting he's my favorite companion the only thing I hate about him is that he's not in the first game

Inquisition was my first and still only Dragon Age game, and I was absolutely blown away when they began singing that song! I know everything else is supposed to be garbage compared to Dragon Age Origins, but I thoroughly enjoyed Inquisition. One of my great introductions to the PS4 generation! Along with Spider-Man and Uncharted 4. 😁🤙🏼

Sadly I didn't play MGS until ps3 era, and even though I had SotN and Silent Hill saves on the simulated "PS1 memory card" in the hard drive, the game wouldn't recognize them and I just got the "completely clean" message.

Just for the sake of clarity but avengers was developed by Crystal Dynamics with Eidos Montreal doing some additional work. It was not fully developed by Eidos Montreal.

You got one thing wrong. The god awful AVENGERS game was developed by CRYSTAL DYNAMICS the studio behind the TOMB RAIDER REBOOTS meanwhile the masterpiece GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY game was developed by EIDOS MONTREAL the studio that developed the DEUS EX games. They are not the same dev team.

I'd like to see a list on the opposite end of this topic. Things that were added that were better left out. For example, Kingdom Hearts 2. In one section of Hollow Bastion, where Sora, Donald, and Goofy go to the bailey, there was a very long and unnecessary walk down the stairs added in, taking away from the action.

I would like to add to this the dialog wheel options from Darksiders 2. I saw what they were trying to do, but it just didn't work. You ultimately end up going through each option of the dialogue wheel, which defeats the purpose. They could have done the exposition as cinematics, and it would have been more memorable than the generic body language they tried to implement.

#2 sucked ass. Kratos and her daughter was way more emotional in chains of olympus. I thought the list was good because you had neverwinter nights in it. But it is just games under companies that recently stunk and pandering just to get the "access" for brownie points
