Someone just needs to hire them to do the entire soundtrack for a video game already! Or a movie soundtrack. These guys just don’t get enough credit for their incredible talent. There isn’t ANY other group who has ONE arranger with this level of musicality and VoicePlay has THREE!

So Black hole Sun was released in 1994 by Sound Garden. They were a 90s grunge band. Its a beautiful song, the original video was pretty weird but loved it. Voiceplay did an amazing job on this cover.

This cover sounds better and better every time I listen to it. The boys go all out, and I know I have said it before, but they just keep getting better and better with each cover they do. I am familiar with the original, and it really does nothing for me, but this is amazing and complicated and just wow...lol. Great reaction!!

I love the karaoke track they played while the Patron list rolled. Hearing the harmonies and the beatboxing without the melody just shows the intricacies of what they do. They are the best, hands down!

The nostalgia is real in this one. This song came out my Freshman year. It changed everything for me. I had a lot of friends into grunge, I didn't mind it, but THIS... "Black Hole Sun" was on another level. I became a grunge girl thanks to Soundgarden. Loved the reaction, man. Really, the audio mix in this was insane. Your faces from 7:59 on were meme'able and relatable! That ending was INTENSE.

Cesar has done that in the past, but this time it was Geoff. We could hear those notes were his on the part dominant rehearsal tracks. Cesar was singing entirely different notes.

I'm surprised, that you didn't know the original song! It was very iconic in the mid and late 90ies. And I remember, it was my favorite to play on the (plastic-)drums with Nintendo Wii's "Rockband" 😆

Love when they have Anthony sing with them. Love all their voices. This is a fantastic cover. ahbut I love VP so I cannot say I dislike anything they do. You should check out Drake Livingston, Amazing and only 21. been writing songs since he was 12. Last Man Standing and Shadow are both very good.

OH, yeah, this is - at least for my rather untrained ears - the most complex arrangement I've heard them do - and the others were by no means simple, either. Btw - I've just listened to this song for the third or fourth time today, and I just realised that at times the arrangement gets "Beatles"' vibes. I just cannot quite pinpoint the song. Strawberry fields, but maybe another one. In any case - an amazing cover and a very delightful reaction. All the best to you and yours, Dave. :)
