Fast forward to 2011 and i become a fan of deathcore and it sends me down the path of discovering all forms of extreme metal ! Deathcore, the mix of actual Death Metal and actual Hardcore has been around over 30 years. Confusion in NYC began in 1990 and Darkside NYC began in 1991. Hell, you can even hear Death Metal in early Sheer Terror demos from 1986/1987.

I went to California this last weekend, on the drive down (14 hours) I stopped in Fresno to get breakfast and a coffee at McDonalds. I think we're going to see a resurgence for two bands in particular: DEICIDE and NILE. Hopefully they tour together in the next year or two.

Oh damn, he actually followed through! 🙀 Black Anvil is not a deathcore band. They're part of that NY USBM scene. Kevin Bacon's son plays in that band. The elitists crowd, he is probably referring to the blackened deathcore scene. Everybody thinks Lorna Shore, but there are more than them that aren't as popular or as known as them. I could see that mindset.
