Used these once on a heavier pro angler on soft sand with a custom made ball receiver mount on the front of the kayak for moving it with a trailer dolly, it was still a pain in the ass to move it on deep soft sand, though it can be done with these wheels, with the smaller ones forget about it.

+30milesout... Have you looked into the C-Tug system. I broke down and got it for my Cuda and love em. The best part is you don't have to unload your kayak to use the cart and it breaks down to store in the hull or can sit in the back like the cart you have here. Love the vids keep em coming. U can also take the wheels off and put inside the front hatch so u can still use ur rear rod holders.

I have this setup too. They sure do make nice elbow/ arm rests , when in the back. . . Was thinking . Love to see a race between all the new pedal yaks . ; Wilde , Pescador , old town , Jackson and of course , your Outback . Reckon you'd be first to do it on KZfaq. . . Go the 30mo.

Are they the 30cm wide tyres? I cut out round pieces of pool noodles slide it on top of the black round stoppers as cushioning to stop it from hitting the kayak.

I tried to post a video on your Facebook page but I do not know what I am doing so it ended up in the comment section. But I do know how to put these wheels on the easy way. Here is how it is done. Get two standard bungee cords 36" long. They have to have hooks small enough to fit through the scupper holes. Cut one end off and heat seal the end. Remove the lock pin and lower plug from the one side of the scupper cart. Just the pin not the plastic plug with the hole in it. Now thread the bungee through the tube out past the axle. This is not easy but can be done. Now tie a knot in the bungee. Then do the other side by drilling a hole in the plastic plug. What you will end up with is with bungees coming out the top of the two tubes of the cart. With your boat on the ground put the cart next to it with the top of the cart facing the bow and even with the scupper holes. Then lift the boat onto the tires, feed the bungees up through the scupper hole and hook them on to your seat (2015 and up Hobies) Now lift the back of the boat straight up and the cart will go right in place and you will say WHAT!!! No fuss no tipping. Please make a video so others do not have to take all there stuff out of the boat to put the wheels on.

nice video. There are a few videos out there which put bungees at the top of the Hobie cart to put it up into the scupper holes. That way one does not need to unload and tilt the kayak to get the cart into the holes. What horrendous beach has those awful flies. Glad that I am in California where the only thing that pesters you like your flies are the girls. Ha-Ha. Thanks and looking forward to more vids.

Any tips on making them cheaper ? Haha those suckers are no joke! Well worth it though in your case. I couldn't imaging dragging a big beach like that after a long paddle.

Keep an eye on your scupper holes, i used them for about a year and the noticed some mayor scrapes. I have a tennis ball where the frame meets the scupper now. Just an idea

Taking the wheels fishing couldn’t be more terrible. I’d rather drag it over rocks than take wheels on a fishing trip. What about the famous bungee method?

I was wondering why u didn't have any wheels at all I have the regular kind it also holds my seat up tight on my outback it dose make it a bit hard to get into my backpack but it's a must to have the wheels also u could keep ur stuff in it u unload off the trailer put them in before u pull the yak off just roll it back off n there u go

GE TY; I have been to Ft. Pickens this time of year and those flies are a SOB. I have a Wheeleez strap on cart for my Ride 135 and I love it. Really the only time I need it is when I visit the Gulf and that is several times a year. It really is the only way to go when on the Gulf and you have to a ways to transport your yay to the water. WHAT!!!!!!
