You should do a more lengthy video of the tones for people to sound capture if you haven’t already

Is there a way to have 2 speakers with the same siren tone with a slight delay so it sounds like 2 vehicles but it’s not too overwhelming?
@literalantifaterrorist46737 ай бұрын
There’s the whelen dual siren which does exactly that, and we use them in our ambulances. It’s really nice because it makes it effectively impossible for the sirens to become background noise with how they synchronize and un-synchronize.

What’s the piercer type? Badass
@democraat24763 жыл бұрын
It's a rumbler version of a Dutch 3 tone (ambulance) siren, mixed with a piercer tone.

@@democraat2476 I think it's the Mechanical Yelp tone from the Whelen Carbide.
@whosthis12302 жыл бұрын
It’s composite piercer + composite tritone

I agree. Sounds like way too much going on. Can confuse drivers into thinking there are two vehicles and can also cause them to panic because of the hectic tones. Sirens should be kept simple IMO.

@@amf5171 the point is to make drivers think there is more than one vehicle

I’m not going to hate you on it but I think it is a nice feature. It is a way for officers to stimulate a multi vehicle emergency response to get people to move out of the way quicker.
