Well done! Thank you. Low frequencies travel farther and penetrate vehicles better. But many of these dwell on the peak frequencies.

I have recognized two italian siren tones generated from The Whelen CenCom Sapphire Siren Have: it's an italian siren tone of carabinieri and other italian siren tone of polizia, i have suspect of this multiple siren tone generator is produced in the USA and in the all Europe countries, including Italy; the difference of American light bar supplied with Whelen CenCom Sapphire Siren with European (Italian) Light bar with another italian Light and beacons controller siren tone generator is Blue Beacon Lights supplied on italian polizia and italian Carabinieri Vehicles

Yes, this siren does have those siren tones but I don’t think they use this siren in Italy. They probably use another one that sounds the same.

I didn’t push a shift button. Each configuration only allows for 15 tones, so I had to reprogram it multiple times to make this video.

@@FatJebusGaming Programming is simple. Connect your computer to the amplifier with a USB-A to USB-B cable, load your configuration on the computer software, and press the transfer button on the top left of the screen. The amplifier doesn't need power during programming. For the backlighting, apply power to one of the wires in the 14-wire harness. It's labeled on the top of the amplifier.

Hi. maybe you can help me out. i have no backlight on my controlhead. main plus/minus attached, also ignition wire and backlight trigger. any suggestions? greetings from germany

By default, the backlighting is very dim. You can adjust it in Output -> [your control head] -> Set Backlight Intensity. If it's still not working then make sure you have the right control head.

You have to download the tones from the computer as a configuration. Each configuration only allows for 15 tones.

No there is not, so I installed a resistor in line with one of the speaker wires.

You need power to the two thick red power cables and to the ignition and backlighting inputs. Ground to the two thick black cables. That's all you need for it to power on.

@@thelightguy2 I did all that, it powers on and the PA works, but the control head doesn't seem to turn on or function at all

@@jonathanholloway6287 You might have gotten the cencom gold controller, which is what I did at first. Mine has "WeCan Controller" on the back.

Whelen has a software for programming the Sapphire. I just created a configuration and transferred it to the amplifier.

They are on all types on emergency vehicles. Not just cop cars .

They don't make controllers with enough buttons for these tones. Brain overload trying to remember where they are all assigned to. Great video nonetheless 🙂

Yeah, this specific controller is just a big grid of buttons, but their newer controllers are organized a bit better.
