I'm Egyptian American. I lived in New York for 27 years. But I never understood how kid just leave their parents after they turn 18 or 21. Kids should always be near their parents. If kid leave 3,000 miles for college and then come back, I'll understand. But if kids leave 3,000 miles for work, then what's the point of leave? And if they get married, they should be In the same city or county. Again, otherwise what's the point of living? Enjoy life with family not friends because friends come and go but family always stays. We only live 1 life. Make sure not to miss it because before you know it, we will all get old and say what was the point of all this running for 😔

Kids should always be near their parents. If kid leave 3,000 miles for college and then come back, I'll understand. But if kids leave 3,000 miles for work, then what's the point of leave?

Im from India and have never understood how people just disappear from parents lives. I can understand military or starting your own company in the valley or maybe going to los angeles to be in the movies. But to be working some shit job 3000 miles away from your tribe is something i haven't understood at all. Maybe its the corporations that have romanticized this idea to sell more homes or something
