Interrogations like this don't happen often where the suspect outsmarts the detectives and knows EXACTLY what to do... This is the case of Dababy, who is one of the people who got out of an interrogation better than he went in.

The majority of people that police deal with are complete morons. It's like they're a different breed of people. You'll be sitting in the station or be outside of the courtroom, and you'll hear people casually talking about what really happened at top of voice, as if everyone else there is deaf. Last time I got in trouble and had to go to court, I actually thought I was in the wrong part for a moment when waiting in a certain area. I was the only person presentable. I wasn't just the only guy in a suit, I was also the only guy that looked like he knew what personal hygiene is, and knew not to talk about why I'm there and what happened to the other strangers in room. The only thing missing for these people, was tea and biscuits for their conversations. And they actually probably wondered why they got sent down. I know not everyone has a suit, but clean clothes and a wash is something you'd think everyone would take into consideration when their freedom is at stake, aswell as not take about the case to random strangers, but clearly not everyone thinks like that.

Not true at all. Theres plenty of innocent people who lose their lives because a jury convicts then with little to no evidence. It's really the roll of a dice with our justice system. And you should never talk to police. It can never help and it's a terrible idea. Even in the case shown in this video the little bit of talking couldve screwed him. he made the mistake of saying "I didn't get in a fight with nobody". Had he of gotten into ANY disputes at all around the club, even if it was raising his voice at a sound guy or something and it came to light in a courtroom, prosecutors could use that to make him seem dishonest about his statement, and that alone could plant a seed of doubt in a jury. Most people want to say "I'd never do...(scenerio)." Then they'll dig up any evidence to contradict you and make you seem unreliable and shady. They really do mean "anything you say can and will be used against you". Even if it's usage is unethical or questionable..

It is so frustrating how they try and incriminate innocent people - imagine the amount of innocent people who have been wrongfully charged in jail right now.
@rianmacdonald9454

Depending on country could be up to 5%, but again depending on country that could easily be thousands of innocent people in jail. THAT IS DISGUSTING. They do not care about right/wrong guilty/innocent - it is just a number and a case closed to make stats look good. That is scary as F. Police, lawyers and judges will be held to standard for bs convictions.

This guy might be innocent in the eyes of the law (as it should be) but you and I both know (if you were honest) that there's a non-zero chance that Kirk is guilty of *some* involvement in the robbery. That he can't be found guilty *beyond reasonable doubt* doesn't compel us to privately assume that there is no reasonable grounds for suspecting him of guilt.

I never ask for a lawyer and I always talk to the cops 😂 Cops: “how can you afford two televisions? I don’t even own two televisions” Me: “oh that’s because I don’t have any habits,do you need a support group?” Cops: “are you trying to be a smartass?” Me: “no, I have the right to remain silent correct?” Cops: “yes” Me: “did you say to me when you arrested me that anything I say can be used against me in court?” Cops: “yes” Me: “ok… in anything you said to me include anything like “it can’t be sarcasm, an assumption or an opinion”?” Cops: “no” Me: “then what’s your issue then?” 😂 😂 😂

I still think he said too much. Even if you're innocent, you can say something that can incriminate you. If you're in this situation you simply ask if you are under arrest and if you're being charged with a crime. If no, then request to leave. If yes, then ask for an attorney and remain silent.

I’ve always thought along the same lines. When cops say that they have irrefutable evidence that someone is guilty, then why on earth would they spend so much time and effort trying to elicit information other than understanding the motive which underlies why someone killed someone or where the victim(s) is/are located.
@kentaro.h9839
@kentaro.h9839 Жыл бұрын
You kind of answered your own question it’s to get to the point where they can find a motive and figure out why they did what they did. Even if they know they’re guilty having a motive can be the difference between 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree murder or even manslaughter.

They want you to admit guilt, which makes it hard to refute in court or plea insanity later. Also, some people admit to crimes they never even committed and get booked, believe it or not.

@@kentaro.h9839 It's more often because they don't actually have proof. When they have proof, they don't bother with interrogations. They just let you sit in a cell until your indictment comes in. Cops only grill you like this when they DON'T have the proof they claim to have.

Most people think that when they are being interrogated, that by NOT asking for a lawyer, it seems like they are more likely to be innocent with nothing to hide. That, and if they ask for a lawyer they will be put in jail while they wait. And that scares a lot of people.

Going to jail for a couple days isn't that bad. These days it's way too easy to get arrested for fucking bull shit reasons that if you get arrested you should just not even sweat it. Besides once you're in the interrogation room the only place you're going next is jail more than likely. The police depending on the state can arrest you at their discretion. So just ask for a lawyer and if they take you to jail just know that they'll take you to magistrate within 24 hours and you'll get your bond amount. Either call a friend, family or have your attorney post bond and you'll be out after dinner time.
