We understand ALL TO WELL!! when a horse is acratched, before the big day!! Many of us lost out on a lot of money with scratched horse's!! Awful Feeling!!

So in USA, one is presumed innocent until proven guilty except in horseracing? You ban a trainer and bar his horse from the Derby and subsequently have no adverse analytical findings...so how does that get reconciled? Deprivation of earnings and emotional distress of an immeasurable magnitude... I did not make that up... Happened in 2023😢

Owner, trainer, track vet eliminates horse from race. It can happen all the way up to start of the race. A horse can be backed out the starting gate and scratched. Owner can enter multiple horses to confuse/game other owners/trainers and scratch 1 or more horse. Owners can cross enter same horse in 2 different races on the same day at the same track or different tracks in different states and have to scratch. Rain/weather can cause a scratch. Change of surface from grass to dirt or synthetic. Horse racing is complicated.
