Hmmmm. Whiz can be amusing but as a kid it horrified me. As an adult I once bought it again to see what horrified me so much. I still dont like it. But it is def a part of our culture lol

That nib is referred to as a “music” nib made for those who transcribed musical notation. They can make quarter notes fine. But I find making longer lines with them can be problematic. A regular fine flex stub nib works better for me. I’ve known Nathan (the genius behind noodlersink) for over thirty years and he’s a character.

I used to have one of the stave nibs that draws five lines simultaneously but it’s been mislaid after several house moves😢

Not exactly, It's more of a modified music nib. They both have three tines but a true music nib is a bit different.

Here we are 4 years later and the moral busy bodies that find offense on other people’s behalf, made Nathan take all the Tribal names off his inks and pens. I’m Chickasaw and would have loved our Tribes name on an ink or a pen. I find the people responsible for it disgusting and reprehensible. They are a stain on humanity and society as a whole.

🤣I think working from home during this virus outbreak has gotten to me a bit. After using a fountain for years to draw with, I've had a taste lately to try out some different nibs, so I stayed up way too late last night watching videos and trying to decide if I want a flex or a stub. Thank you so much for having a giveaway Peter, and Noodler. I am new to fountain pens, but have been practicing calligraphy for over a year (not religiously, but when I get the chance, and when I feel up to it. I'm disabled so I can't be diligent like that with pretty much anything 😖) and have just recently gotten my first non-dip, pens. Now they are Staedler Calligraphy set pens, and I am so grateful to my mother in law for getting them for me, but I don't reeeeeally count them as fountain pens. And boy do I ever want one. This pen is pretty much everything I want in a pen. A good flex, refillable (the Staedler ones come with cartridges) and I love that they're clear! I know the chances of winning are super low, but I really wanted to tell you how grateful I am that you're even giving me the chance to win, and why it means as much to me as it does. I think the shading in this drawing is especially beautiful because of that ink. It adds something extra to his drawing that I really liked (but all of Peter's art is pretty fascinating no matter what ink is used)
