I feel like a lot of your viewers watch you because of your personality and not necessarily just because of the climbing content, so i think you should absolutely continue to do videos on gameshows that aren’t specifically climbing related

I used to train with Olympic Judo athletes. They are insanely strong. As soon as you mentioned 2 wrestlers, a judoka and a climber, i know it was over for the other teams.

I have to criticize you for not ever mentioning the rock climbers name or spending half the video on her dramatic backstory.

Holding an axe but not using it seems like a disadvantage. Throwing a fire extinguisher down a storey potentially onto someone's head could kill them. I totally get why they penalized her.

I loved this show!! You actually mentioned one of the contestants in your Physical 100 recap! I wanted Team Firefighter to win, but team athlete earned it imo. They didn't have the best base, especially irt comfort, so they managed to win even with that hinderance.

The first couple of episodes is feels like peak gameshow drama and storytelling, but then it kinda fizzles out and gets a bit predictable but is still a very enjoyable setting. But it also felt like some of the teams kept making some very dubious decisions in their strategy, which is easy to say in retrospect. I do think the base layout could have been better though and they should've lasted until only 1 flag is left or be more round based like the arena battles, which there could've been more of as well. When it's just 1 elimination per battle it just becomes a blitz zergfest. I think the calorie store should've also allowed purchases that could've upgraded base defenses as well rather than just having "tools". Or have more rewards like the ones in the arena battles. Also felt sad to have the first two eliminated teams have to wait around on the loser island only to be eliminated.. again.

CAME FOR CLIMBING, but the recap was amazing, loves your comments on it, although as for the penalties, The person with the fire extinguisher, THREW it down with the intent of "throw" to "stop"/"hinder"/"affect" the other teams, with a force(like blunt force, bludgeoning?) but the person with the fireaxe, as seen earlier in the video, uses it as a tool to get in places, she isn't, as u said, "swinging the axe" at people , she has it for a tool, yes an accident could occur but would it be more likely to occur if youre holding the axe in your hand with an appendage that has the mobility to change where it would land midair for that appendage only(you dont have to move your whole bodyto move your hand/arm) or have the axe strapped to a belt or suit, and if you fall on them, and the axe is towards them, to move your hips, belt area, you cant just move that you will move your torso, or legs, it required, you cant turn your hips 180 degrees without moving your legs or torso, so its "safer". sure its kinda dumb i agree but saying its the exact same as the fire extinguisher person is a stretch edit; fire extinguisher not hydrant

So.... some pro fighters won a show mostly about fighting, but they had a climber with them so climbing is the best sport.... Yeah ok. As someone who does both climbing and judo i feel pretty able to say with no bias invloved that soldiers won this one by a mile, then grappling, then climbing a distant third.

Seems to me that team guard was had the right idea. Except if you can get a good alliance, it's really a death sentence to leave your base if someone else all out attacks it. Capturing bases is probably useful simply because it gives you more options? The bases seemed quite different to each other. I agree that running around with an axe is a bit cray Fire extinguishers thrown from a height can be deadly though.

Now do physical 100 and singles inferno (which does actually have a climber in S1)

The mentality of soldiers is you do whatever is needed to get the job done.

They did team soldier dirty, had to take them out of the show or else theg just run everyone over.

I was so sure team firefighter was going to sweep the whole thing but damn team soldier went hard as fuck. Also those pro wrestlers carried hard.

@climbingstuff just watched season 5 episode 5 of Fear the walking dead and it has a pretty decent attempt at showing zombie apocalypse Trad/Aid I guess. I dunno thought would be another random climbing related thing for you to react to 😂

My problem with programs like these is that there are obviously camera crews following them so how does one “secretly” enters someone else’s base?

Grate idea for show battles were epic but weapons only to enter buildings was good, but would prefered say A nerf type so eg can be used for battle and thus have ref declare kill shot etc
