Lvl 67 helldiver here. Seen plenty of idiots getting carried by heigher lvls and dont know that super samples are shared. The dude seems like he did try to kick you before the game ended. Seen plenty of people go afk before a kick happens. Seen plenty of bad host kicking players who have carried the team. Ive been kicked for not sticking with the host and following them. Ive been kicked for picking up the host's samples and ive been kicked for having the same loadout as the host and the host dies and thinks you took his support weapons or backpacks. Long story short. Block those bad players and move on. They dont deserve your help and they will get less help when more people block them and move on.

Whats even funny to me is if he kicked you while you're inside the shuttle, your sample container along with your equipment would have been dropped under the pelican and out of reach because of its large hitbox. He would never be able to pick them back up.

I got kicked for leaving the team behind because they kept finding it funny to team kill on purpose over and over. in a helldive mission. I ended up collecting more than 45 samples combined and doing majority of the mission just to be kicked

Don't you just love it when you try to quick join off of someone else's game to give them a hand and then they kick you not 5 minutes after your hellpod lands? Me too. I know it's not really applicable to this clip but it's another kind of toxic behavior I have experienced.

I had some dude kill me in the pelican, take my samples then kick me. Only to still get everything despite being kicked. Had gone flawless then entire mission and literally carried the dude bc all he did was kill everything in sight and wasted the entire reinforcement budget doing so as I did every objective.

Petty divers are plenty, and most i've encountered are low levels, less than 30 running suicide. Some never read the chat, some kick for calling down ext early, without knowing that ext can wait for ever after it lands and you can leave the zone, some kick for samples, some kick when you are doing a lure away, lots of reason, but i think it chalks it up for inexperience. Welp, sometimes i do get very fedup with the kicks that i play helldive just so i can avoid newbs.

This was caught when I was doing a test stream on Twitch. To see and fix any quality issues. I kinda had the vibe, sense this dude was around 90% of the team deaths, he'd blame it on the others, and try to kick us. One of us timed out (probably crash) and I, well, stuck around until the end. My guess is this dude was a level grinder, who doesn't know samples are shared, so when I picked up "his" samples, he thought I stole them, fyi they are shared. Or hes for some reason mad at me getting in the ship before him. Either way, this type of behavior is petty, and also but toxic. Edit 2 : I'm curious where y'all are coming from lol, this is beyond the norm of my channel.

There are some people trying to make people hate the game by kicking and killing players at the end of the match because they hate the Community Manager for the company. This might be some of that nonsense.

Besides people thinking they are not shared, they could be thinking other players are going to run off and die and lose them before extract. What I do on harder difficulty is run them to the extract zone if convenient

people get so butt hurt in this game i remember when i punched this dude as a joke cause he did it to me and i only did it once, because he couldn't take the joke he decided to kick me at extraction.

At least this one waited til the end and fumbled with the kick. I've been kicked mid-game or near the end (when most of the objectives were done) with 40+ samples and by level 50-60 (who used up 70% reinforcement budget and got called out). :(

I sometimes get kicked for carrying the game which is really weird. I also experienced 4 kicks consecutively which is so frustrating, And there was no reason at all.

I remember there used to be a problem where someone leaving would take all their samples with them. So someone would get the super samples and then whether by accident (it was crashing for everyone a lot) or on purpose they would leave and the samples would just vanish

I remember got kick a few times I thought the team was doing well with 1-2 deaths but still got trolled in the last mins of extraction. 😂

I consider myself a wetwork helldiver. I take a sneaky and hard hitting build for smash and grabs of loot and super creds, while the main group is off doing the mission. Tons of players like that in farming the loot for them but a handful of whiny droppers end up teamkilling me and booting because I’m not “helping”

had this happen to me. joined a random group on Helldive and held my own the whole time while keeping the bugs on me by having them spawn breaches. When it came to extract again I held my own and even was spawning them back in. 2 seconds before evac im kicked. I wish there was a list of reasons on why your being kicked not just a auto kick

It's possible that's what they were doing, but there's no way to be certain. Also, I make a point of not boarding the Pelican first if I'm not hosting.

Probably late but in helldivers 1 when you pick up a sample, a UI shows that each player get one, and no, you don’t drop samples back in the day, they immediately deposit it lmao. But yeah, when you and your partner get 5 sample points and a new guy drop, when you pick up a sample, they only get one.

Not related to this but Ive had a good number of instances where a player will be cool for 75% of the match and out of nowhere will TK someone or myself then leave. Random asf as far as I can tell lmao

I have removed someone for starting the extraction timer at the 15 minute mark when my friends and I were going for a full clear but this here is a little ridiculous, lol. That host just seemed like he wanted to be the first one in since yalls clock was already out. Weirdly petty.

sometimes in random im found someone like this. im still far away and he call down extraction early and kick me. but he forgot im pickup the super sample 😂. im hope the dev will ristrict people who join after several minute cannot been kick. but if he wanna leave by it self can.

Kicking should be vote based, and when the extraction timer starts, kicking should be disabled.

how do the samples work? everyone gets what's collected? also, if you don't make it out, but the rest of the group does, do you get samples? i have a lvl 40 and baby lvl 4 on the pc and just came across "toxic" players

I got reinforced once and was thrown to the shuttle, i picked up the samples near the shuttle and hopped in. It took off immediately after with no 20 second count down and got kicked for that

The game doesn't have a leave party option if you're the leader, so either you kick everyone or close/re-open the game. I usually close/re-open the game after a match, if the party is full of mutes.

They should make it as soon as extract begins or the last 15% of the mission is left, kicking is no longer host decided but team decided. Least then, it be openly shameful when everyone sees it being attempted, and who knows, maybe kick back the host off instead into a separate mission instance from the team if such a thing happens

they should make hosts unable to kick during a mission, its so frustrating when youve collected so many samples and you just get kicked at the extraction

I am glad I have close friends to play a full squad with, because this is just petty stuff. It’s really no fun playing the game if a player is selfish. I can’t say I’ve experienced anyone who’s been nasty as I’ve been lucky enough to encounter players who are more than happy to help each other out, as we should anyway.

Its always either new players or toxic players that do this crap. On top of that they always try to get on the higher levels to XP farm from the higher level players.

I honestly don't know if I've been getting kicked or dropped when I've been playing this game in the last 2 weeks, but seeing as how I've not seen the "You've been kicked from the game" message, it leads me to believe that I've just been getting dropped. The game has been incredibly buggy, with multiple people not being able to get reinforced after they die, despite throwing the stratagem multiple times. Has kinda ruined the fun of it for me.

I very very rarely kick people. Only time I ever did it was when one guy kept calling me in far away from the tasks I was doing with my partner (I’m talking half way across the map) and then proceeded to call in extraction without asking us at all. So next mission I naturally let him go to the other end of the map, called in extraction, dropped a 380 and 120 on his path to extraction, then kicked him once we were back on the ship. I’m gonna let him get some credits but I’m gonna make him suffer for being an annoying squad mate.

Yep, too many toxic know it all players recently. For some reason, most dont know samples are shared. I got threatened for kicked for not grouping up with team when I completed like 90% of the POI's for them...meanwhile, they kept fighting to kill EVERY single bug and depleting all the lives down to like 7 in just 10 minutes. Apparently, they were 3 premade cause right when Pelican landed, all three aimed to kill me for the samples. This is even after I grouped like they wanted me to. There needs to be a premade indicator so, people can learn to avoid these groups. There were signs of this before the pelican dropped since I noticed so many eagles and orbitals thrown in my general direct and one kept "accidentally" shooting me. Reminder, if you spot these signs...they are NOT accidents. It is traitorous behavior and appropriate actions should be taken against it. Oh and I didnt even die a single time besides those from the traitorous team killers. Those player usernames are ThorThunder9, stormi_daniels, GumbyfleX. Avoid these guys at all cost. Let them fail their missions by depleting all their lives doing idiotic things.

One time my friend got kicked because he didn’t want to go across the entire map to a small nest which the host said not to do earlier in the mission

To be honest that is kinda understandable,he found the samples,so they are his. I never take the samples of other people,unless they take mine(I don't like It when people take my samples,unless I died when the extraction ship has landed).

They really should make it so that kicks are changed to a majority voting system during the game, then only after showing the results at the end can the host alone kick

I had a guy kick me after he stole my quasar. We both dropped the same strategems in roughly the same spot, but his bounced away. When I grabbed mine he tried shooting me so I ran away. Eventually he got me, so I got him back and took back my equipment and swiftly got the boot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Only time I kick people is when they intentionally don’t reinforce. I’ve waited up to 10 minutes for someone to revive me while they were safe plenty of times .

There is an achievement for extracting with 15+ common samples that cannot be completed with your teammates holding the samples. If they didn't have a mic, they may have seen this as the only option. Not saying it's right, but it offers one possible alternative to them just being an a-hole... lol

Soooo stupid. Legit had a host, name was Nuts, kill one of my squad mates out of the blue. The 3 of us joined in on his lobby. After my squadmate and I unlocked a friendship door, I took off to the next objective until he hollered over our Discord to tell me Nuts had killed him. I asked him if it was deliberate as I was running back towards him and he was like yeah, he's standing over me and shooting my dead body. Once I ran back, I shot him dead, reinforced both of them and then killed him again. My 3rd squadmate reinforced him on the otherside of the map to keep the peace lol. Needless to say, he didn't jerk us around again and didn't boot any of us.

I got booted cause my rover killed a team mate XD But I tell the squad that who ever carries the sample is to board the ship. Dont try and revive if the drop ship arrives and 3/4 of the team is dead. Piority is the sample makes it out and it wont be a total lost

Earlier or rather yesterday, I had an encounter with a high level yet crappy player who died a lot, killed a random teammate every single time. While he was on a monitor, I accidentally hit the right paddle on my Dualsense Edge, which was mapped as R3 meaning melee and it hit him. I quickly apologized only to get shot and we were down to the last reinforcement, yeah thanks to him and the other random, who was also high level, both wasted our reinforcements but left sometime before. So my friend, instead of kicking, TK’d him and he left on his own. I’m not toxic, it was an accident, I apologized hell even did the hug emote but instead got shot 😂 Luckily my friend was the host otherwise I for sure would get kicked even after apologizing.

I don't get why people are so toxic anyways. Someone joins your game where there is a place left during extraction and helps you to extract, but people say: "Nah, he's not going to take the EXP, he didn't do anything!" - as if it's money from their bank account that this person is getting. It's a god damn game, just play together, god dammit!

I had a guy in one of my games, we where both in mechs and I kept seeing that I was getting shot from something I turn around to see him firing shots at me he blows me up and then proceeds to nonstop killme then kicks me after I drop a 500 on him 😂

they need to fix that a bit, by also creating a report system. If someone kicks without the stats to justify it, they are disciplined heavily

Last night was playing on helldive difficulty full squad and once completing all the objectives and stuff, I called in extraction and the admin? Kicked me and everyone else immediately yet we were all waiting for extraction

Why don't the devs just add a penalty for those who maliciously kick teammates from the team by not only charging them for treason but they'd also be kicked from helldivers itself for being toxic and add a system to check out said players to see if they could potentially be toxic by reviewing gameplay footage of the missions they played or were simply a part of to find out how toxic they really are Oh and also they wouldn't be banned entirely unless they're too toxic but instead would receive notifications that the things there toxic for affect the helldivers reputation as a foreseeable force and respected as such it'd then present a disciplinary timer in which they wouldnt be allowed to log in to their profile until said timer is over

I be closing bug holes and dealing with horde of bugs especially when bug breach open omg i even finish befor them and come to help them and they have the nerve to tell me i suck and cowered for not being with when it was me all alone did the side objective i move alone and i love joining randoms cuz some random ppl r just awesome players really enjoyed playing with them on diff 9 with I didn’t struggle that much

I was in a game yesterday. I carried the team heavily in kills, and samples. I was kicked as soon as I got into the pelican. Do these people not know that samples are shared?

One story happened with me: some guy always die entire all match, we run some automaton mission and was near signal jammer, no one can not be able to reinforce him and at one moment he start scream in his microhone "fckrs wtf reinforce me etc...", then I wrote in the chat that no one able to do that coz JAMMER close to us , just wait till we turn off it and then that mzrfckr wrote in the chat to host of our match to KICK me lol, but no one respond to him anything and he leave ... it was weird & ridiculous

There is a small chance that he was trying to get the 15 common achievement. For that, the samples don't share. You have to get them out yourself.
