Alex Pereira - 4-time GOAT in 2 weight classes. 2-time kickboxing middleweight and light heavyweight world champion. 2-time UCF middleweight world champion and current light heavyweight world champion!! What I like most about this fighter is the fact that he gets harder, smarter and much better with every new fight and he was very tough and like a Terminator in attack mode, he was brutally precise. The one against (respect to Jiri), but that was an execution from the first second!! The man is getting more dangerous from fight to fight. I can hardly wait to see Pereire's heavyweight UFC world champion fight :D

A name is something given . Great warriors earn that right, and trying to install yourself with people who earned that because you have the same name is kinda crazy ik your not saying you're a great warrior, but there literally no correlation between the two things?

All I said is I am happy to share the name of some of the greatest warriors on this earth and you obviously have a problem with that. Did I claim every person with the name "Alex" is a great warrior? No, I didn't, you're just a being a hater. You even say, "I know you're not saying you're a great warrior". The correlation is lots of warriors are named "Alex" genius. You should evaluate yourself and ask yourself why am I hating on this dude right now?

Jiri is an amazing fighter, was an enigma, once upon a time..... so, to look at him, and see that the only way he can make sense of how good alex is, is to blame it on him using some kind of ritual that channels spirits into him, thats kind of mind blowing to me, when i thought about it from that perspective..... Pereira needs to clean out the light-heavyweight division like Jones did, or fight 1 or 2 more times before moving up to heavyweight. but his 1st fight might be against Jon since Jones expressed interest in fighting Poatan. remember, no God, no peace. know God, know peace.

His shots to the body actually work as a defense against take downs. People get hit in the head as they go down like in this fight against jiri. Also, he keeps his hands low. So ppl start second guessing the take downs. Also alex can throw a flying knee, another reason keep people away. Pushing him against the cage and then going for some takedown is probably the best way to do it but in this case Pereiras technique is just good enough to avoid the takedown or even just securing a safe position. Its not only a takedown defense skill but actually a whole defense system.
