I heard a Barcelona fan saying Beth Mead's yellow card was correct. I disagree. Oh c'mon man, have you ever learned the football rules?! Barcelona played dirty and were ignored by the referee. I don't see this type of gameplay being accepted in men's football. The amount of fouls Barcelona got away with in early stages was several, even before the Beth Mead incident. Even that should of been called obstruction before Beth even had to throw her out the way. You can't block a player that far away from the ball and not get called for obstruction. As you can see here, when a Barcelona player had the ball, and Beth wanted to get the ball, another Barcelona player blocked Beth from the Barcelona player who had the ball, which was against the rules. Imagine if this Barcelona dirty gameplay was allowed in football, what would we have?! The football teams just surround the ball and walk it to the opponent's net. That's it. All players form a tight circle with one person dribbling the ball at the center, and then they move into the opponent's goal. No, football doesn't play like that. There is a rule in football that, when a team is in possession of the ball, players without the ball are not allowed to physically obstruct the defending team. So blocking like this is illegal in football. The Barcelona player used her hands and her body to hold Beth and block Beth from moving, which is against the rules. Why could this gameplay be accepted in the UEFA Champions League?! Spanish league is such a sh*t league. This is so unprofessional! Arsenal was beaten by a dirty gameplay which is accepted by the referee. Such a joke!

I think cards for Nobbs and Foord were ridiculous as well. 12 fouls were committed by both teams, and half of them were yellows for the visitors- that alone should be questioned. I guess that's why Jonah got booked as well. As much as I love Barcelona and supporting them for many years as my second team, this has become quite a common theme and I find this very suspicious and annoying.
