"Cast off your mansab"?, You mean Shivaji's mansab? Also it might not find mention in mainstream, Ram Singh was ordered by his father to assist Shivaji by helping concoct fruit basket ploy, for which Jai Singh was eventually poisoned by badshah.

छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज जब औरंगजेबसे मिलनें जानें वाले थें, तो औरंगजेबने पहले ही महाराज के बारें मे बहुत अफवाहें सुनी थीं ( जो कि महाराज ने ख़ुद ही तैयार की थी) अफ़वाहों की एक अफवाह ऐसीं थी की छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज लंबी-लंबी छलांग मार सकते है,ग़ायब हो सकतें है,और औरंगजेबने अफ़जल खान के बारे में पेहलेही सुन रखा था . तो जब महाराज उससे मिलने गयें थे तो उसने high security का इस्तेमाल किया था और औरंगजेब जहाँ पे बैठा हुआ था वो महाराज से बहूत दूर बैठा था उसका कारण वो अफवाहेंहीं थीं. जो की वो एक gorilla warfare की technique हैं. औरंगजेब का मकसद महाराज को मारना ही था ये ख़ुद औरंगजेबने उसके मृत्युपत्र मे लिखा हैं . और छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज को ये भी पता था की उनको कभी ना कभी तो दिल्ली जाना पडेगा ही तो दिल्ली जाने की planning महाराज ने पेहलेसेही कर रखी थीं . उनके बहोत सारे आदमी दिल्ली में महीनों या सालो पहलें जा चुके थे . महाराज की जो technique थीं उसके मुताबिक ऐसा नही हो सकता की महाराज क़ैद होने के बाद उससे बाहर निकलने की planning करेंगें . महाराज की युद्धनिती scenario analysis पे होती थी की, कौनसी situation मे कैसी निति अपनानी हैं .

Even though Shivaji Maharaj was respectful of Islam and Quran, his son Sambhaji was brutally tortured to death by Aurangzeb by gouging out his eyes and chopping off his arms. Cruelty in Islam's DNA. This disturbing truth can be seen not just in Aurangzeb's behavior but that of many other muslim rulers. Even today mutilation is practiced in some muslim nations.

Aise mithai ke pitare wo bhejte gaye aur jo guards the unko laga ki ye to daily ka ab kya hi check kare mithai ke pitaron ko. Iss baat ka fayda lete hue ek pitare me Sambhaji maharaj aur dusre me maharaj baith kar aagra se bhara aaye aur baad me swarajya me aaye. Aur unke saath wale log dawai lene ke bahane gaye aur aage jaakar maharaj ko mile jab ki kuch log unke haath lage aur unko tadpa ke maara gaya.

Once again like another episode, local Maratha history has no mention of how Mirza Raje Jai singh actually ordered his son Ram singh to help Shivaji's escape, later Jai singh WAS POINSONED by Aurungzeb after learning of it. Jai singh even had hosted a great reception for Shivaji befitting of a king instead of capturing him as POW, ALL documented by Italian traveler Nicolo Manucci. Such injustice.

What a half story 😂 It was battle of purandhar . In which jai singh ji beat shivaji maharaj . Shivaji maharaj not only surrender forts but also sent his son to mughal court. His son remains in mughal captivity for years . Fact - most of the mansabdars in mughal court was marathas.
