A German bank robber truely was the worst to ever exist. He robbed a bank by placing a white paper on the counter which said "This is a robbery". He had a Revolver in hand, so they had to do what he told them. He then took the money and ran. Around 20 minutes later the police arrived at his doorstep. Baffled he soon realised he had left his white paper at the bank, which turned out to be an envelope, with his address on it.

Sure, but walking into a bank dressed like a bum, wearing a mask, and handing the teller a handwritten note asking for a large amount of cash is about as dumb as it gets. And for an assistant? How much cash is he REALLY paying an "assistant" every week where it would be crazy. 4 grand a week is over 200k, and 4k in cash, from a bank, is not that much money. The assistant is probably making half that at best. I promise you, nobody is getting crazy when a BANK hands out 2k in cash. That's like 500 transactions a day like that, that's nothing. He could also obviously pay her with a check or something, but she apparently wants to cheat on her taxes. If you ACTUALLY need privacy for your piddly 2k in cash, which you don't, then just go to an office. If it was from an ATM in a sketchy location, sure, but not INSIDE a bank. If you're THAT worried then you need to A) change banks and B) move to a safer city, and C) pay her with a check/wire transfer/money order/etc. REALLY dumb shit on his part, but sure, at least he didn't scream emotionally over and over and over again in cuffs like half these fools do.

We had an attempted robbery at my bank years ago, but I thought it was a prank so I yelled at him. “Enough Gary it’s not funny- now get out!” He just looked me funny, turned and left. We heard sirens a little later, he’d just walked to the next bank and pulled the gun I didn’t know he had. I got in trouble by the bank higher ups, but the cops kept laughing as I retold the story, making the bosses even more angry.😂. Turns out his wife had just left him and he just snapped. My dad worked in a bank when he was younger here in Germany and he and the whole Neelmeyer branch he worked at got robbed by several RAF terrorists with pistols and Kalashnikovs. They usually did that during the 1970s to gain money for their organisation. And because back then the whole crime investigation wasn't that good, the Police didn't catch them directly afterwards - they just said it was the RAF and that they assume that the group was lead by Christian Möller und Sigrid Sternebeck, two famous German left-extremists of the RAF time. It was 1977 and they stole 500 000 DMark, 1000 US Dollar and 700 000 Italian Lira - it was a big thing here in local newspapers regarding to my dad.

Bad enough having prosecutors who won't charge, and judges who won't sentence, next we will have cops making sure the guys they are cuffing have the maximum opportunity to walk away with no consequences at all. Bank robberies almost never have potential to make millions, tbh. Hundreds of thousands at best like 99% of the time, most banks don't have excessive cash reserves onsite. Even when they do, it's guaranteed to be behind a bunch of robbery failsafes, like timed vault locking systems and systems that require multiple high-level employees' credentials simultaneously.
@LegendOfTheFLame3937 ай бұрын
Another thing to note is to even do heists like that requires money equipment and a large ass team the problem with criminals in large groups is that one always cracks and gets them all screwed over is the biggest reason they are unsuccessful
@ArrowArchitect7 ай бұрын
@@LegendOfTheFLame393 exactly, getting the money and escaping the immediate police response is already difficult, but it's only step one. Continuing to evade detection/capture with the subsequent investigation, or even being able to spend your take without arousing suspicion, can arguably be even harder. Especially because bank robbery investigations, at least in the US, often involve the FBI, not just local and state authorities

Ryan Coogler had the police called on him by the actual bank teller and you are reporting this wrong. The man used his own card, entered his own PIN number, and handed a note explaining the amount he wanted OUT OF HIS OWN ACCOUNT. The fact that you didn't fully explain the story is disrespectful to him because you are framing like its his fault. The cops were completely in the wrong by not even investigating the story before putting everyone in cuffs as if its not a big deal to deprive people of their freedom, even for a moment. Felt bad for him, he looked really distressed.

If you need to take out a large amount of money and don't want to discuss it out load, call the bank ahead, explain the situation and they'll have it ready for you.
