2 things which would put me off online bass lessons is 1fingers 2 funk and adds up to f**k that, being influenced by new wave a plec always and funk never😂addendum to this statement learn plucking as another technique same as funk style as another way to play but for me it is jst another learning technique worth doing but it does not get the juices flowing ,what you all think? I may be shit using a plec and playing punk but I get a buzz from it ,so less of the funk please❤

Lemmy Hill! 😂There's a photo of Benny dressed as the bassist complete with distinctive 'tache, sideburns and of course Ricky bass someone showed me online funnily enough lol. So that is it now HAVE HAD to subscribe because of this... been watching a load of the shorts that keep coming up in my suggestions and the time really has come! I never got it completely right on guitar so, this is pretty inspiring because I enjoy playing bass every bit as much. TOP WORK THERE!!!!!! 😎😎😎😎😎

Wow that makes me feel old. I think Benny Hill was the first English show I saw here in the US when I was young. Hilarious! I wish they'd show it again. Danny, you played the theme so well! 🎉🎶💃🏻

Britain isn’t really like that. I’ve never seen a woman in a bikini running after an old man. I wasn’t allowed to watch Benny Hill because it was ‘rude and not for us’ the British class system 😅
@Mick_Ts_Chick2 ай бұрын
@@vanderark89 I'm pretty sure I haven't seen that here in the US either. 😂 My parents were pretty laid back when it came to that kind of stuff. They thought it was too silly to watch, but didn't care if I watched it. My mom did say that my dad didn't want me to hear that song by Jimmy Buffett called Why Don't We Get Drunk and Screw. I was 17 at the time, lol. You know how dads can be about their daughters though. Wanna protect us.

Day 52 of asking for Paul McGuigan’s bass tone of Oasis NOTE: Don’t use Wonderwall as an example because the bassline was actually recorded by Noel Gallagher and not McGuigan. Also don’t use any baseline from the Definitely Maybe album as they were also recorded by Noel Gallagher. A couple great examples of his bass tone are from the songs Some Might Say, Morning Glory, or any song from the Be Here Now album.

Nice to see a KZfaq bass player that plays bass like a person that played bass in bands to learn the craft. Even in a setting like this where bass is center stage, you can tell. While I know a lot of these other virtuoso blokes have certainly been in bands, there’s no substitute for a bass player that is there to be the BEHS of the rhythm section. Keep killin it Danny!
