I am hoping that if they have a wedding with family, that Elizabeth's parents & Julie will be there and Martin & Helen Bouchard!!! I am so excited to see them married because I loved the pairing of Lucas & Elizabeth from their very first meeting!!! I feel sure that Jack will be involved somehow in the ceremony. I would love to see Carson, Jesse & Clara return for the wedding, too!!! So much to look forward to and I can hardly wait!!! ❤❤❤❤

Watching this podcast makes me even more excited for season 10 than I already am. Erin said in an interview after the finale that maybe not in the church since it was Jack's church, so I am thinking more on the bridge, but don't know how safe it would be filming with Hyland. Maybe just maybe, they will go to Hamilton where Lucas' parents will also come into town to meet with the Thacher's and celebrate Christmas altogether. The parents will talk them into marrying at the Thacher home and will keep Jack for a few days as Elizabeth and Lucas go on a short honeymoon. Martin could be the best man, and Julie the maid of honor. When they arrive back in Hope Valley Rosemary will have a big reception waiting for them in the saloon. Just my crazy thoughts! Can't wait...I am with you, please writers don't wait until the end of the season, please let us enjoy seeing them married.

I agree that Elizabeth and Lucas may elope, probably in Hamilton! That way Elizabeth's and Lucas's family could attend (I would think it would be easier to travel from Montreal than Hope Valley). Hope Valley has had enough city-wide weddings; celebrations would be just fine! I can just hear Gustave (ooh la la!) That way, a pregnant Rosemary could stay close to town, if a baby decided to make a surprise appearance!

It was awesome actually meeting Brian, seeing Patty again, meeting Janette Oke who is awesome & Elliott Wallach from Edify & chatting with all of them. Hope our school year needed well & you are enjoying a well deserved summer break. OK re our beloved show….good stuff here. One thought, I noted from a post that filming will go til 12/9/22 which while fully into the HM Christmas movie season COULD maybe mean a Christmas WCTH. Do you think if so that could be a wedding? With all the holiday decorations that would be lovely, thinking of “White Christmas” one of my favorite holiday movies! One other thought, and I know they film in blocks so out of order, an outside wedding of course demands good weather. Lucas & Elizabeth while romantic are both organized planners so would have a plan B. The ridge would be lovely but logistically more complex & likely a small wedding. It would also need to be filmed early in the filming season as would a bridge wedding as it presumably would take place in warmer weather (fall or spring, likely spring given the sequence of the engagement in mid fall). Re outdoor settings I actually am inclined towards the ridge setting. I am really interested to see who will be Lucas dad. I would love to see Gregory Hines, he is like 70, handsome, distinguished & OK average ht (Lucas ht could be a throwback)but it would work well. I have loved him ever since (and you maybe are too young to remember) he was Levi Zendt in the mini series “Centennial” based on James Michener’s book which was a favorite of mine. I hope they don’t elope with a party sometime later. What fun is that for LucaBeth fans? I’d also love to see a wedding early in the season but I truly don’t want it to be a “little moment” occasion. Lucas has never been married! They are crazy in love. Give them a BIG celebration. Why not? If there is ever a time to bring back “big moment” Lucas Bouchard, it’s for this wedding. I hope it takes place somewhere in or very near Hope Valley with members of both families in attendance, along with close friends. It’s past time we meet Martin and Jeanette. (Personally, I cannot wait to see those characters.) Henry as best man, Rosemary as matron of honor, and Little Jack with a significant role in the ceremony are all part of my wish list.

Good ideas, Roxanne. I love the idea of the Ridge for the wedding, summer around sunset. Maybe a small reception at the Ridge with a bonfire. Not sure how they'll honeymoon because I'm thinking they won't want to leave little Jack for too long. Would definitely like to see both sides of the families there. Would be nice if Clara & Jessie could be there or maybe call Elizabeth & Lucas to congratulate them. Well, however they do it, it will be exciting & a very special day. Can hardly wait!!

Hi Roxanne! I'm looking forward to Season 10 and yes, that glorious day when Lucas and Elizabeth get married! The beautiful ridge would be a wonderful place for their marraige. I can picture it in my mind. Roxanne, it is July and this the month they usually start filming WCTH. Have you heard anything yet? I'm hoping the majority of the cast returns. I want to see Rosemary and Lee have their baby and I want Jack W. to come back to the show (so I can see a relationship with Molly). My Mother once told me that no parent should have to bury their children. I'm very sad for Jack and his family. I guess I just don't want him to leave the show....

I am going to Agree with everything you have talked about in your predictions Roxanne. I honestly don’t see Lucas and Elizabeth eloping. And Per Erin she does not want Elizabeth and Lucas to married in the Church. So I am leaning towards a backyard wedding and maybe a wedding in the saloon. I want to see Lucas’s parents and Elizabeth’s parents at the wedding. I can see Little Jack being a best man and Henry being a best man. I think that maybe even Lee or Nathan could be a best man. Rosie will be Elizabeth’s Maid of Honor. I want to see Elizabeth’s family come to Hope Valley for Christmas and spend it with Lucas, Elizabeth and Jack and see them as a family. I am hoping for the weeding in the 100th episode but if it comes sooner I will be good with that. I like the idea of Bill helping officiate the wedding with Joseph and if he can’t attend the wedding then a phone call or letter will do. I would love the ridge, or full wedding.

I would have loved a Christmas wedding, but don’t think it’ll happen. So I’ll go with an intimate outdoor spring wedding at the Ridge or bridge. Gustave as best man (since he’s L’s cousin/ wing man) and LJ as best little buddy🥰. LJ will also walk with his mom. Reception at renovated saloon. An immediate short honeymoon at the hotel in Union City (from S7). Longer honeymoon in Paris/Europe during school/holiday break (end of S10). Definitely need Bouchards and Thatchers at the wedding.

I really don't want them to elope. There are so many reasons for them not to do that. And I also don't want them to go to Hamilton for a wedding. The wedding needs to be in HV in front of all of their friends. It would be great to have both families present for the big day. I still think that Jack will be the ring bearer although it would be super cute if he was the best man. Hopefully they will figure out how to get Henry released and then he can be the best man. And yes, Rosemary, being very pregnant would, of course be the matron of honor. Please don't let her go into labor during the festivities!! The birth of the baby has to be the focus of it's own episode.

I'm with you Roxanne! I have seen perhaps more than 10 times the S9 to date. I can not be without! Ridge wedding is a great idea! Reception in the renovated saloon. Both parents of Lucas and Elisabeth. Jack jr walking towards the altar with Elisabeth. Or marriage to Hamilton, Lucas surprises Elisabeth (Elisabeth likes surprises) to find the closest friends of Hope Valley.

I would like to see a big wedding in Hope Valley. With both families present (as long as they can get the actors to play all the parties). The ridge will be beautiful, especially at sunset. The wedding party Jack as best man is a good idea, with Nathan making the official toast. And Gustav as groomsmen. A very pregnant Rosemary as matron of honor. Julie and Fiona as bride's maids. I hope that Bill is well enough to attend, if not I hope he will send a letter or something to represent him. There are some things I would like to add. A kiss and bouquet toss from the Queen of Hearts balcony. Who should catch the bouquet I have no idea, there are so many eligible ladies in town. Elizabeth's students should be involved some how.

I agree it needs to be a short engagement. I also could definitely see them eloping and then having a big party because Rosemary will be upset that she couldn’t plan the wedding so she throws a party. I do not think it will be in the church; Jack and Elizabeth were married there and even Erin said no to Jack’s church. I would love the bridge or library but the space may be too small. Could definitely see it at the ridge. I could even see Lucas buying that land. Helen and Martin really need to come, it would be awful if they don’t. I also think it may be for the 100th because that is the prime time for a wedding and I wouldn’t be surprised to see RM have her baby then, as well. Maybe like a 2 hour special where she has the baby in the first half and the wedding second or she goes into labor at the reception? I agree it won’t be extravagant because they really beat us over the head with the small moments thing so it will definitely be small and intimate. Also, I agree that LJ and Henry would be in the wedding and Joseph and Bill will officiate if Bill is there. I hope they don't elope. She's had a big fancy wedding but he hasn't so I hope it is more personal but lovely. I like the ridges idea because it is gorgeous and if it was in the fall it would carry on the fall theme. The bridge kiss and proposal were beautiful fall scenes. Lucas asked her what she thought of a fall wedding and he didn't look impressed about spring. Then they could go to the renovated hotel for a fun reception and a dance!!! Would love to see that.

The pond would be a beautiful setting. I love the idea of the bridge since that's where they finally confessed their love, but it would be hard to arrange for guests there. I also like the elopement idea since their relationship is more the strong, but silent type. They are also so clearly attracted to each other and neither is a virgin, so it's probably frustrating for both to have to wait, so why not just go off someplace special to both of them and elope there instead of involving the whole town in some elaborate display? They can have a town-wide reception when they return.

I haven't thought this through completely but was thinking that Lucas would ask Elizabeth for her thoughts on when she would like to have the wedding. She might remind him of when he asked if she had thought about a Winter wedding and she seemed to favor Spring. Now that they are engaged, though, she can't wait to be married and is on the same page with him. Since they are going to Hamilton for the holidays with her family, they could have a small wedding at the Thatcher home with Lucas' parents and closest friends from Hope Valley in attendance. Or the wedding could be just the families with a reception back in HV.

It is possible that Lucas will begin remodeling his saloon and will give a party to see the remodeling saloon and then Lucas and Elizabeth will announce the party is the surprise wedding and reception. Their parents and Julie will attend. Then they will have a honeymoon in Paris. Maybe they will stop to go to the Orient Express train from Paris to London where Elizabeth will introduce Lucas to her sister Viola .

Something just popped in my head when you mentioned Jack. I wonder if Elizabeth will have a dream where Jack tells her he's happy that she's found love again and a wonderful man to father his son. I think the wedding will be more low key but very romantic not just in words but in decor. Elizabeth had the big formal ballgown, veil, formal bouquet the first time. I vision a lace gown, beautiful hair comb, and hand tied bouquet of spring flowers. Little Jack walking her down the aisle and either Julie or Rosemary as MoH and Gustave or Henry as best man. Outdoors near the pond with the church in the background. That’s my opinion. Thanks

I hope Henry stands up with Lucas and maybe a surprise maid of honor could be Abigail or Julie! Rosemary and Lee should stand up with them also so the baby needs to come first so she doesn't upstage the wedding. The baby on the 100th episode would be a nice way to celebrate. Little Jack and her father could walk her down the aisle and Little Jack could hand them the rings again like he did in the proposal. Then he could stand with Lucas and Elizabeth during the ceremony. Both sets of parents will be there. Can't wait to see who plays Martin.
