can you be drug tested when you are unemployed but still hold a CDL with an up to date med card.

If your on FMLA and your number gets called for a random would you have to go in for a piss test? Or would they just wait till your back to work??

I recently got my CDL. I don't plan on using it. I got my CDL as a backup just incase if I lose my job or I want to quit in the future, I can then use my CDL to get a job quickly or become an owner operator. I currently do not drive a commercial vehicle. I don't work for anyone driving a commercial vehicle, and I am not an owner operator Will they still randomly drug test me? Am I gonna be put into a consortium just for having a CDL eventhough I currently don't drive a commercial vehicle?

I am planning on getting a CDL-A. I am prescribed Norco from my doctor. Will this be a problem???? I am taking them legally and nobody can even tell I'm on them because i don't abuse them. I use them mostly at night when im at home sleeping for the night.

I hope you get back to me quickly but, I do not do any sort of drugs I had quite a few drinks this weekend I took a 65304N Dot Panel test today after apx 60 hours no alcohol, would alcohol show up on my test? Or is it a simple drug screen?

I failed my dot pre employment because I was still positive for Marijuana after I stopped using a month prior. My nano grams levels were 297. Second dot test a month later was 49 nano grams. Now I took the 3rd dot test another month later, and haven't gotten the results back. Is there a possibility I could still be positive even tho I haven't use thc? 😬

Nicely explained! Other than it being a huge hassle to go get tested somewhere, drivers should really not have to worry about it....Just Don't Use Drugs...Simple!.
