Born Marshall Bruce Mathers III in 1972 in Missouri, Eminem had a turbulent childhood. He dropped out of school in the ninth grade and worked odd jobs until finally making it as a rapper upon the release of The Slim Shady LP in early 1999. The album went multi-platinum, garnering Eminem two Grammy Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards.
In 2000, Eminem released The Marshall Mathers LP, which was noted as the fastest-selling album in rap history. In 2010, he released the Grammy-winning album Recovery, a highly autobiographical attempt to come to terms with his struggles with addiction and experience with rehabilitation.
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013) also garnered numerous accolades, and the rapper later followed with Revival (2017) and Kamikaze (2018).

One of my favorite things about Eminem is that he’s one of the most successful artists/rappers rn and you’ll pretty much always see him wearing a hoodie and shorts. People who don’t feel the need to show off their wealth and success mean the most to me.

I'm not a rap fan, but like most rappers, his songs were about his experiences in life. His anger, pain, and the disloyalty of those closest to his heart. People thought he was toxic or violent. They never had to live in a rough neighborhood or grow up in a dysfunctional environment. He stayed true to himself and his family and friends. Don't judge others. Only God can hear what the heart cries out.

It sucks but he also goes out secretly by himself, covered up and Detroit is none the wiser. I'm sure most in Detroit leave him be if they see him in respect aswell. I remember him talking about it. Unfortunately can only do so when hes hiding his face but atleast hes able to roam freely for short periods and experience normal civilization. Famous people can and will go crazy and lose it if you isolate them too much for too long from the outside world. So I'm glad hes not on his own in a mansion with but the people he hired being the only relationships he has- he has his daughters and niece and everyone else there that ain't our business 😉

It's always been my dream to meet Eminem, Not in a weird way or anything, I just had a horrible childhood filled with abuse and neglect, and I know so many people have gone through the same thing and so many people have gone through so much worse and my prayers go out to them all! 🙏 I have gotten therapy throughout the years but as a kid all I had was Em's albums and they truly got me through so much and I have always wanted to thank him for that. I'm a father now and I love my kids more than anything in the world and have the opportunity to give them everything I didn't have and treat them how I should have been treated and it's the greatest Honor I could ever have, But I can't help remembering being a kid goin through the ringer taken it day by day with Em's music as my own therapy. I know meeting him is not very realistic so I figured I'd leave random messages like this with the 1 in a million chance he could see it, so thanks Em!! 💯💯🔥🔥

This man has given us so much of himself with his music. I am truly grateful for him being the voice of our generation. It's very sad that people are so intrusive to him. Haven't you people listened to his songs? He wants to be left alone. Selfish people with no manners need to treat him with respect. Respect that he has beyond earned and very rightly deserves. At the end of the day, Eminem recognized the fame and all that attention early on and could up completely Darth with his music. There have been artists that have done just that and after a couple years they can kind of go around without all this harassment. It's a trade-off. You get fame, money, success but you also get what we see in this above video. I would hire a Hollywood makeup artist come in and do some prospecting knows and this and that so I could go out and about to the local store. I've heard of actors and actresses in makeup coming off the set during break and going to a convenience store because no one recognized them and how much they enjoy that feeling. To be honest, how do we know he doesn't do that? It was a good Hollywood makeup artist they uses from time to time, we wouldn't know cuz we wouldn't recognize

You realize that a hundred people outside his vehicle, or wherever he may be, just want to "say thanks and be on their way" too right? Then he shows up and everyone tries to say thanks all at once, one guy gets butt hurt because he is pretty sure Em didn't hear him, people start talking louder. One hundred people trying to get the attention of one man all at once... How many people you know that *wouldn't* be out there in a heartbeat, upon hearing "hey, Eminem's supposed to be showing up across the street at the "Shatte Est Fewdè Entownè" restaurant! I'd find it hard not to myself... I know that. The only way to completely respect his privacy is to be one of the people that completely ignores him, see him or don't, makes no difference because you're doing the same thing for either occasion.

I respect that, Bethany. I have to agree I'd do the same, but only if I spotted him without the crowd. And to the one who said the crowd is all there to say thanks, maybe a few real ones in that mix, but I say mostly nope. The majority of them just want a photo opp or autograph or to touch him or some other weak shit like that so they can have bragging rights. Or even just to say "I saw him! I saw him!" like whoop de doo, did that event change your life or did his music. Get real.
