This has always been my problem. Was raised to not depend or ask anything from anyone. Pride has driven me to do some stupid things. Have been homeless hungry but was to proud and embarrassed to ask for help. Im currently living at a extended stay motel, Im 63 and have been looking for work. Im scared to tell my family because of the fear of condennation that I fear thatll Ill get from them. My youngest son is helping me and I feel so guilty and hopeless. I constantly tell myself keep strong dont give up but I at times feel so hopeless and depressed. Ive made many decisions based on what I saw in front of me. I pray that anyone listening to this sermon, dont make the same mistakes Ive made. Waiting on God is hard at times, but its HIS TIMING NOT MINE. Please pray for me...much love❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I listened to this sermon when it was originally broadcast, but like so many of Dr. Stanley's sermons, it's just as beneficial and valuable the second time around! Many of his sermons have I listened to multiple times, and was always spiritually rewarded for it! I've been blessed by his sermons since 1983, and what a tremendous impact they've had on my Christian walk! ✝

When faith gives a way to fear 1. Our focus was moved from God to our circumstances 2. When we begin to make decisions based on human reasoning and it's not in God 3. We forget that God is our provider and protector 4. When we sacrifice our most precious possession to gain favor we are in trouble 5. When we forget the unconditional promise of God and begin to fear others we are in troubles 6. When we are willing to cause other pain in order to protect ourselves we are in trouble

Please pray for me also. I lost my home and everything I owned and became homeless. I am now in a nursing home with violent, mentally ill heathens. Jesus help me!!!

Friend, residents in Nursing Homes have RIGHTS. The phone no. for the association (i.e. Gov't.) is to be posted in a central place in the facility. Ask the receptionist where that info is & CALL the free number to connect you with an intake worker who will LISTEN & record your concerns. Ask this worker about the timeline for ACTION on their part. If you are being hurt (by staff or other residents), this becomes an "urgent" matter & it will most likely happen within 48 hrs. They will ask you if you have informed the home Administrator. You can choose to do that, before reporting on things (or you can report to that oversight group & simultaneously report to Admin.) I do not know what country you live it. I live in Canada & here, each province has a "ministry" for Long Term Care & there is a separate governing body for "retirement living". Either way (& I'm thinking the U.S. would have something comparable), there is always an overseeing governing body for the facility you live in. The "Rights of Residents" should also be posted somewhere. You have rights!

I’m trying to have a relationship and be closer to God. I’ve been doing sinful actions because I have been in pain which has lowered my faith but now I see My sins are what separated me from him. And I can only find that peace within him. Pray for me that I will find strength healing and change in my journey to be closer to God.

Still hard for me to sometimes believing that Dad Charles is with our Lord Jesus now. I love him. A great teacher who speaks to my heart and help me moving from one step to another. Please pray for my daughters. One is on testosterone and has already changed her name to a male name and doesn’t believe in God, the other is on Adderall for ADD and her personality has changed dramatically. The more I learn about the drug I realize that it is very bad. They are in their 30s and will not listen to me. Thank you for your prayers.

The one on testosterone probably has ADD as well. A lot of people with ADD have gender dysphoria, it's part of the mental illness.

We are all sinners. Sin is breaking God’s moral law. Even one lie is enough for us to deserve everlasting fire from God (because He is holy). But the good news is that He loved you so much that He sent His Son Jesus to pay the price for you, so that you can go to Heaven when you die. Jesus died for all of your sins, was buried, and rose again (He’s alive!) on the third day. All you have to do is believe! ❤️ To be saved, believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ (who is God in the flesh, the Son of God) on the cross, in His shed blood, in Him taking the wrath of God poured out on Him for you while He was on the cross, in His death, burial, and resurrection to pay for all of your sins and to give you everlasting life (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Hebrews 9:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 3:16, John 6:47). You cannot work/obey your way to Heaven - salvation is the free gift of God (Romans 3:20, Ephesians 2:8-9). Once saved, always saved (Ephesians 1:13). ❤️
