The split second before a fish strikes is something we rarely get to see...it happens so fast that its hard to catch, even with slow-motion footage.
So, when I was shooting these videos with my underwater camera, I decided to turn several of the unbelievable nano-second instances, when fish were about to strike, into still shots so you can better witness whats actually happening.
It's pretty dramatic stuff and really fun to see!
In this vid, you'll witness the split second before a king salmon strikes a trolled spinner, coho salmon inhale plugs and spinners, chum salmon striking at plugs, trout chasing down lures, salmon and dolly varden char eating cured roe and -- even a rainbow trout chasing a soft bead.
