I think my husband and I would have been still together if it weren't for the cancer. My son was diagnosed at age 5, then I was diagnosed a year and a half after. He wasn't strong enough to take care of us. I had to do it myself and I had to with no Ohana and being alone watching ur son going through surgery and then chemotherapy, when he got sick. I had to be strong I had to b a warrior, but I had to fight the war Alone! And it hurt. But I showed my son how strong I was, so he could b strong! My son fought a good fight and won! I knew I had cancer I just didn't tell anyone until my son was healed. After he was ok, then I knew it was my turn. My son was the only one who took it hard. He cried and said no mommy. Not cancer! I don't want u to go through what I did! My husband didn't even say anything. He made me drive myself to my chemotherapy appointments. He didn't help me through the who process. We were in love. We got married in Hawai'i cuz I am Hawaiian. We had an Indian wedding cuz he is from Fiji. So we had 2 weddings. And I was so in love we both were, we gave eachother everything. WE SUPPORTED EACHOTHERS DECISIONS! But then when we got sick he just wasn't strong enough.

Some men ask NO questions because they don't care. I'm a Senior and was talking to another Senior for 2 weeks. No questions =no interest in my book. He would ask a question IF I asked him if he HAD any questions but otherwise it was "hi, how was your day?" Or "what do you do for fun?" OH I gave him an answer alright.
