Saskia Kusrahadianti arranges: "When I am dead, my dearest" a poem by Christina Rossetti.
Christina Georgina Rossetti (5 December 1830 -- 29 December 1894) was an English poet who wrote a variety of romantic, devotional, and children's poems. She is perhaps best known for her long poem Goblin Market, her love poem Remember, and for the words of the Christmas carol In the Bleak Midwinter.
My favourite poem by her would have to be this one that I have arranged! The first time I read it, I believe I cried a little bit (I am such a girl. T__T)
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did playing and recording...
I shall dedicate this to my dearest~

I love this poem too and so did my mum. She died recently and I wanted to read it at her funeral when I was searching I stumbled across your arrangement. It is so hauntingly beautiful. It played as we carried mum out of the chapel and made a beautiful end to a wonderful life. Thank you so much, it is a very special track.

Beautiful! I can visualize wind blowing the leaves of a tree and the cold weather. Sent chilld down my spine. This is the kind of music that can send imagery. I feel like crying! :'(
