His mother was forcing him to have a heir and he made the plan to trick her into marriage despite having a girlfriend. He never cared for her after getting her as wife and not after to long she will beg him to not to meet his girlfriend and even that if he ever loved anyone of mother and daughter not to step out. He pushes her and rushed to break up with his girlfriend. But she left him because she had enough of sacrifices for him now she wanted to have some happiness. After a few months knowing he's determined and will do anything for them, she forgives him.

@@Lioness_MM Yes, that is exactly what you do. Good for you. It took me 10 seconds after I found out to put him out on the street and didn't matter anything he said, I never took him back. But some of these dramas show how women have no self-respect for themselves. Why even sleep with him and become pregnant for someone who does not love you? It's her fault knowing the way he was with her and still getting pregnant by a heartless man.

@@kynakay9054 Well, not every marriage in the west fails. Like not every marriage in the east last. Marriage is for a lifetime but not everyone is faithful. My parents have been married for over 40 years. It has nothing to do with either east or west but the person and upbringing. Some understand the commitment and others have no respect for it. In my case, he failed, and he was out. If you love someone you don't cheat. Simple as that. But NOT easy. It hurts you a lot.

My own father was a serial cheater but my mum stayed with him because she loved him. She honestly thought he'd changed in her last few months of life. But he was just craftier - even I hadn't suspected, so when she begged me to promise to help keep an eye on him after she was gone. She'd raised me that promises were cast in stone, you cannot break them once made. So I promised, just to keep her calm. But when his most recent side bit arrived, drunk, at her funeral and we had to get rid of her. I....I was very close to breaking it. As it was my father didn't want his adult daughter and pre-teen granddaughter around, nor his also aging son in law, because he liked chasing women younger than me and having a family that old would've given his true age away. I could tell so many stories about him, right up until his own death in 2020. I'm sure you could tell me similar ones. But our mums were angels and raised us better and we have their love to remember and be close to.

Placating the pain may lead to bigger issues in future i.e postpartum depression, unhealthy early childhood experiences for the child if the members of the families are ignorant and myopic. I don't think it's immature to leave an irresponsible man. He's not the only man in the world. The paradigm shift especially women's empowerment is really needed in the societies.

@@TheJourneyTo-Me This was not the very 1st serious mistake made to his wife. It was so horrible and unfair that he put the blame on wife to whom arranged him seeing his mistress to go with another man.

This woman is not unique but insecure to continuously put up with crappy husband like this. There unfortunately are plenty of women like herself. I know of a few. I couldn't watch a story like this. Must be a Chinese drama. They always make their females look naive and stupid.
