Hey Kam, I’m 27 years old and just got diagnosed with primary pulmonary Hodgkin’s lymphoma stage 4B - so it’s mainly in my lungs but also some. other organs too. I’m getting the exact same chemo you got (Bv AVD) and starting my 2nd round of 12 in the next week. It’s been so nice seeing your earlier videos of how everything impacted you because I feel like garbageee lol and it’s comforting knowing you went through the nearly exact same thing and came out on the other end so rejuvenated. Just wanted to comment because your story and journey has at least helped me feel better, if not countless others ❤

my dad was sick for seven years before he passed away when i was sixteen. people acted like our entire family had died -- some still do. it was incredibly painful, so thank you for sharing your story.

Hi again 🙂, I'd only watched your recent vids,and just got this as a suggestion and it struck a chord with me so I've just watched it. I know exactly how you feel and yes your video did make sense. When I was diagnosed like you I was surrounded by people who care, texting, visiting, ringing, coming to my birthday party etc, but as time's gone by everyone slowly disappears.It's almost like they get bored of the situation, like they expected you'd of died by now 🤔. Even some members of family contact less than they did at the start. I sometimes wonder if it's a sort of selfish inbuilt action that causes it. Thinking of the person with cancer might make their life's sadder and also self question what is going to happen with their health in the future. So as a result they don't contact you and carry on like normal and if you die, they've already got used to a different life without you which will make mourning you alot easier as they didn't see you anyway 🤔. That's my take on it anyway 😂. It's 3 years since I was diagnosed xx

My brother in law was terminally ill. His " best friend" never visited him or attended his funeral. It would have helped my BIL.

For the same reason people put down their pets when they become too much "work". Having a friend with cancer (I also had/have Hodgkin's stage 4) forces people to accept reality. Life is hard. It isn't all fun and games....but that's a drag. Their bubble & ignorance is much more fun. They weren't your friends anyways.
