We have disembarked in Rome and visited the Vatican Museum. After touring the Vatican Museum we decided to stop at a local restaurant called Il Segreto. This restaurant was the highlight of our trip. Il Segreto has the finest Italian cuisine with more than exceptionally crafted cocktails and wines. The staff were very friendly and created the perfect atmosphere. Celeste and I desperately wanted to go back for dinner, but sadly we ran out of stream. This was the last day of our trip and we had to be ready to travel back to Texas the next day.
This was such an amazing trip. The NCL Epic ended up not being my favorite ship, but I'm obsessed with how it stands out against the most popular ships in the fleet. I loved eating at O'Sheehan's because it has a pub style that I favor over the Local. The ship steward and all of the staff were awesome. The Garden Cafe was also great. However, I don't want to know what it's like being on this ship when it's crowded. We went when the ship was at half capacity and honestly.... I would have preferred a thousand or more people to be onboard to fill up drink tastings and bingo. I'm sure the ship is a struggle to get around when at full capacity. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of bars and venues, but it can get a little cramp because there isn't any waterfront bars or waterfront lounging. In my opinion, I would cruise on this ship one time and never go back until they do something about the layout and the outside. I do want to give a shout out to ship directors! The ship directors did an amazing job of keeping everyone entertained.
The destinations we went to were perfect. All the destinations in Greece were my favorite, Turkey was beautiful, and Italy was overloaded with history and enriched in art.
Stay with us and subscribe if you haven't because were about to go on another cruise. Our next cruise will be on the NCL Encore to Alaska! I'm excited to take all of you with me to our next destination.
We haven't been everywhere, but it's on our list....
