Going on the same cruise in a few weeks and we also got Vibe. How did you like it? Did the weather hold up OK enough for you to take advantage of the area?
@fooddrinkchroniclesКүн бұрын
The Vibe Club is one hundred percent worth it, but only if you’re staying in an indoor cabin. I don’t think it’s necessary if you have a balcony. We got it because we were worried about having a good place to view everything on Glacier Bay day. Needless to say, the aft and all the outdoor areas were jam-packed. You will see this in my Glacier Bay video once it’s done. Some days were cold, but most days felt like it was seventy degrees. It does get colder because it’s the top deck. The most time I spent in the Vibe when visiting was about half an hour. On Glacier Bay day, I went back to my balcony room because the view was better. The ship goes in every direction to ensure that everyone sees the glaciers. Thanks for staying with me on this. The Vibe Club is not a club. It’s the quietest part of the ship with the fewest people. It has two hot tubs, one bar, patio seating, cabanas, beds to lounge on, and clean bathrooms. It’s a flex, but I enjoyed it.

How long does it last and will the ship wait for u
@fooddrinkchronicles2 күн бұрын
The ship will wait for you as long as you book the excursion through the cruise line. I know there is a 4 hour and 8 hour route. I chose the 4 hour route because I didn’t want to be on a train for 8 hours. I’m glad I decided to do the shorter route because I got to visit the town. The port is a lot of fun to visit. We had more than enough time to see everything.

A lot of companies are losing staff at an alarming rate. I’m not an expert on the economy, but I’m sure the rising prices of goods has affected every business. It’s unfortunate and it’s difficult to watch people do more with less help. All we can do is support the company and hope for the best.

The Palihotel. I briefly talked about it in the video. The room was nice. We paid $300 before embarkation day and $200 when we disembarked back to Seattle. It’s across the street from the market and is a short walk to most places. The space needle is a bit far. I liked it. The Palihotel is an old hotel, but nice.

I must say you both look great in your pirate garb; That faire looks pretty good. I & my lady like to go to as many different faires as possible. We've been to faires in Md. Pa.( PRF & Pitt.) Ohio, Ga. Va. Wi. & Texas ( TRF ) It would tough to pick a favorite, But Md. is my least favorite, & strangest would be the Ohio ( Great Lakes ) faire; I would put Texas ( TRF ) & Wisconsin ( Bristol ) faires at the top of my list, & both Pa. faires in the middle. I hope we can make it to a different fair this year; As Va. Md. Pa. ( PRF ) are on our schedule this year, & are closest to our home. Maybe someday we will venture into Sherwood Forrest. Thank You for the tour of some of Sherwood Forrest Faire.

@@fooddrinkchronicles I guess when you mentioned the Va. it was the one that is held at winery. The original Va. fair closed a couple of years after being open about 24 years ago, & had permanent structures, & was closed by the owners of the Wisconsin faire ( Bristol ) The new Va faire is quaint, But is better than no faire; That being said they need a permanent location. Not this weekend but next will be there 22nd year, & We plan on attending We hope CHEERS!

A can of high noon (355mL) at 5% alcohol has the equivalent of 44mL of vodka, or 1.5 ounces, maybe the difference comes from there ? The high noon is more diluted so easier to drink ? In any case, thanks for the idea !

@fooddrinkchronicles3 ай бұрын
Good point. But, I discovered a cool life hack. I own several of the low ballers. You can make a cocktail in there and shake it up with the shaker lid. It fits on most of the Yetis I own. You can buy the shaker lid separately for $25. Definitely worth it. Thanks for the comment.
