Go after the license. You don't need a lawyer for that to make a complaint against that insurer in your state, you just gotta have the facts. Pull up what other people are saying, express your personal situation with accident reports, witness statements, dashcam footage if applicable. Print out all your emails. Every state in the US has an insurance board. Find your state website and make your complaint against that particular company. But before you do, let the insurance company know what actions you're fixing to take, to give them adequate time to think over your decision to allow them to take care of you. If they refuse, go after their licensing for bad faith and consumer abuse. Or whatever legal jargon you need to say with state codes that they failed to comply to. Where there is a will, theres a way to get justice. You may just need to put some skin in the game.

Verifiable free public information, look into it and your states insurance committees' chairmen could be in the pockets of the large insurance companies where you are too! I verified it for Michigan

​@lw2072 act like you have the money to hire one... Let me start here, I just recently experienced all this, with dashcam footage. Totally not at fault, etc. I sent dashcam footage to our insurer, which we had liability only at the time, and to the at-fault insurer. I also sent the dashcam footage to a few lawyers. Every person except for the at-fault insurance company insurance adjuster, could download and see the dashcam footage. But the insurance adjuster from the at-fault company for some reason couldn't download it. I kept asking her what it would take for her to view it, and she'd gas light me and tell me she just couldn't view it. Well, I sent her and the insurance company a certified letter detailing our situation and I told her if she didn't want to handle our claim, by all means to pass it along to someone else, otherwise, we're going to district court... She got back with me in five minutes and assigned me to another insurance adjuster and since then, they've given us everything we've asked for, within reason and good faith.... Not trying to take advantage of them but, not letting them take advantage of us either... My recommendations is, study on this topic. Familiarize yourself on KZfaq and call your local lawyers and tell them your situation. If you're not injured, many will still help you with advice. Be kind and respectful though. You catch more flies with honey. Take notes, print out reciepts, emails, build your case and learn the laws. They will not mess with someone who has backbone. I hope that helps you. God bless!

NO 'Good Faith law ' in EU, Law in EU is more protective of insurance than of the victim. Victims in EU have few rights only duties. NO Lawyers do 'no cur, no money' !

You must be referring to State Farm which is the absolute worst and most unethical of all insurance companies. I know because I have dealt with them twice.

@@jeffmarionpersonalinjuryla2966 Oh, yeah, I know who you mean! They used to have Dennis Haysbert do their commercials and now they have their "Mayhem" character. Nevertheless, State Farm is a truly despicable company and they get away with a lot. My husband was t-boned by one of their insured at a Walmart parking lot 3 weeks ago and the woman was cited by the cop on the police report with "Failure to Yield Right of Way" and " Inattention" . However, even though there were no injuries, they are stalling and haven't accepted liability and are still " investigating" pending their liability decision". First, they claimed that the policy the woman gave to the cop didn't cover that specific vehicle. Then, a few days later, they said that the policy for that car was new and there had been an administrative error on their part and they would "fix" it which of course they still haven't. Our car was brand new and sustained $5500 worth in damages which I am sure is the reason they are also stalling. We plan on filing a Diminished Value claim after the repairs are completed next week. I know it won't be easy getting them to pay but we won't let that stop us. What bothers me is that we still have to fork out our $500 deductible when we pick up the car from the body shop and we may not get it back for several months assuming they decide to accept liability and since we subrogated to our insurance GEICO, they are also at the mercy of them and whether or not they "choose" to admit liability and get their money back. I know you are an attorney, but it doesn't make sense to me how the law allows them to do this!

Same question do you practice in NYC or could recommend another attorney that does practice in NYC. My personal injury attorney made an illegal settlement with an insurance company behind my back and had the nerve to sent me a closing statement on a case that he butchered in one Appalled Court till it was dismissed. Since I didn’t want to let him of the hook and continue asking him of the name of the insurance company that he sent me to for a medical examination that he categorically refused to give me any information, instead he send me a 100% FALSE closing statement that he actually filed with the NY Courts Administration . In the closing statement he falsely stated that the my case that he dragged for 10 years has no court index # that there was no decision on my case - false again and that I had abandoned the $1,000 000 personal on the job accident case that left me in in debilitating suffering 😢and my post injuries are just intensifying….He claims on the fist page of the fictitious closing statement that there was no settlement on my case , yet he paid himself $13,500 legal fees paid from the plaintiff’s part of the settlement ( that being me😢) He also claims that he paid the outstanding medical bills on my behalf also from the plaintiff’s part of the settlement but he did not even bather to attach fictitious itemized list to this paragraph. I asked one of the doctors who O owed some medical if my attorney paid him and he started laughing 😂how naïve I could be , and of course he did not pay this doctor a dime from the settlement that he grabbed all to himself. The saddest part of my case is that I can’t find one attorney in NYC who would help me to sick justice in my case, because the attorney is not only a thief but also a bully and he discouraged all attorneys that would call him regarding my case that he would sue them if they don’t back off from getting involved in his client’s case 😢How outrageous is this while I can hardly make it through a day trying to control the excruciating physical and emotional pain to be betrayed by an corrupted heartless attorney 😢 Please help
