I feel for him. I finally got tested for allergies and I'm allergic to all trees including pine pollen which is I guess rare, all grasses except one, all but one type of mold, cockroaches, feathers, dogs, cats, and they are all pretty severe. They still ask every appointment when my allergies are the worst while reading my chart, then before I even answer, they correct themselves because there isn't a season I'm not dying from allergies and my asthma. Hopefully they are able to get him on a good regime so that he can get some good relief from allergies and still be able to enjoy the outdoors! I love this video, I often prefer to do simple coloring as I make batches of cards and like them to not take forever to make. This has given me some good ideas to implement simple coloring more effectively!

I was diagnosed with Asthma after the birth of my first child, and it's only gotten worse with subsequent pregnancies. According to my doctor there's an inherited gene which lies dormant and prgenancy can cause it to trigger. I have the trifecta of asthma, hayfever( all blooming year!) and exzema. My son had terrible asthma as a baby and child, but thank God, he''s grown out of it. So there is hope, and I sincerely hope Peanut's allergies improve, for both your sakes And, as always, the cards are gorgeous!

I’m on Montelukast, Xyzal, eye drops and was on Fluticasone. I stopped the Fluticasone because it can cause Glaucoma. I’m suspect for it now so I’m not using something that can cause it. Just driving in the car with the windows open can make me stuffy. Mason is on Montelukast and Zyrtec. He’s been on them since very little. Plus he has Asthma. He is stuffy most the time. I feel so bad for him and really wished he didn’t have to suffer with the allergies. I know how much I suffer and have all my life so I hate seeing others suffer. I hope Peanut gets some relief with the new treatments. Cute cards. Kristina still does do faux stitching lol

I’m praying that Peanut outgrows his allergies…bless his heart! Bless yours too! As a momma and as suffering from your own allergies….may you lose them all when your hormones change. I didn’t get them until I was nearly 60. I had no idea how awful they made people feel…. I suffer from some other health conditions and had no idea I had allergies until my principal (I was teaching) told me he thought I had allergies and suggested Claritin… I was told that it was due to moving to west Texas because they have everything blown in. I thought the desert would have nothing!! My mother also began having allergy induced asthma after moving and she was about 75. She is living with my brother in central Texas and all of her issues are gone!!! Weird isn’t it?? I have to say that all 3 cards are truly breathtakingly beautiful and I can’t select my favorite. I would try and then change my mind so…. I vote for all 3! Thank you again for teaching so much when you create your cards. Since it’s still pretty new to me, the information is so helpful. You need to ask Santa for a Navage for Christmas. It’s a little pricey to get started but it may be well worth it. My 52 year old son uses his every day and helps so much. He also has some bad nose bleeds. These cards are so colorful and fun. 😊😊😊😊😊

So cute! Sometimes we just overthink our coloring to "fancy-it-up" when it just isn't necessary. Poor kiddo, I feel for him! I had a similar experience growing up with (weekly allergy shots for 8 years!), but modern meds have made allergies so much easier to manage. I use Flonaise and take Zertec every night and that works 75% of the time. I always have Sudafed and Chlortrimaton (a non-Benedryl anti-histamine) on hand. Its a lifestyle he will learn to manage. Stick with it, Nathan! You got this!!!

Kelly, your cards are always so beautiful! I love them all, but the window card is incredible! I'm so sorry that Peanut is dealing with such horrible allergies. I went through that as a kid, too, in the late 70s. After seeing an allergist and going on a regimen of allergy shots, they were mostly under control. I still get a little snotty and stuffed up during certain times of the year, but it's nothing compared to what I used to go through. Just know that there is light at the end of the allergy tunnel and it's awesome that he is seeing an actual allergist now. Take care and give him a hug from someone who feels his pain. -Mich

You poor thing. I could hear you were suffering with your allergies even before you said anything. I also get terrible nosebleeds that are almost impossible to stop. If you place an icepack on the back of your neck right at the base of your skull, it will stop the nosebleeds within minutes. It's miraculous. Hope that tip helps Peanut. Also, the dr. put me on Flonase for my allergies, and it caused such terrible nosebleeds that I had to stop using nose spray. My nosebleeds still occur during the winter, but nothing like when I was using nose spray. Lastly, your cards are beautiful. Thank you for the tips about simple coloring. It's great to know that even someone as talented as you are will simplify her coloring too.

It's so funny that you referenced Kristina Werner and the stitching...I have been watching her since early on, and I have many old cards that have the gel pen stitching!! 😂 She still does it, and so do i, lol, not often, but when it needs the little something extra... These are all lovely. My favorite is the window card. I so appreciate your thoughtfulness. I'm sorry that your son is going through allergies. my oldest son used to have them where his eyes swelled shut. Back then, here wasn't the testing and treatments that are available now. Hoping he feels better soon.

Love the cards! I take Zyrtec in the morning, plus nebulizer meds for my asthma, plus neosynephrine nasal spray and Flonase. I use nasal sprays as often as allowed, and nebulizer meds, and by 6 pm, I need more, so I take Benadryl. It’s a battle every day just to breathe.

I feel for you and peanut never used to have allergies, until about 8 years ago. PPL used to tell me we moved to MO and now I have allergies I was like I've been here sine 98 and never had allergies. come that following spring i paid the price for that statement. lol! my throat was scratchy my nose ran nonstop... and it got worse with each kid I had ( and I have 5!!) ... so needless to say I ate my words! and it can be very challenging fingers crossed he will grow out of it as for you and I we prolly wont lolololol! the cards are stunning! love them all! the middle and right one are my favorite! thank you soooo much for sharing, ill tune in on the nest video! ❣

I absolutely love all three cards! If I have to choose one favorite, I think it would be the third card with the large flower! Thank you for another great tutorial! It has given me some ideas on how to use simple coloring and some detailed coloring in a card as I continue to work at gaining skill and confidence in using alcohol ink markers. I sympathize with you and your son suffering from allergies. Fall is rough on mine too.

I love all three cards, Kelly! I do feel for Nathan and you with your allergies. I suffer badly from sinus and it can be challenging to say the least particularly in spring in New Zealand. Take care and hope the new meds for Nathan work!

I have the exact same allergies and my Dr prescribed me Pepcid and said it is an H2 blocker, not just an antacid. It works... you can get Pepcid OTC if you want to try it. That facts are true that allergies change every so many years, I've been through a few major changes in allergies over the years. I hope you both find relief, but try the Pepcid... it can't hurt. 🤗

Beautiful cards. I color with copics because of my RSI, otherwise I would not have made that investment. I have pencils but my time with colouring with them is VERY limited. It’s good that you’re taking things like this into account for people because I think it’d be heartbreaking to have even less ability to color than me and to feel like you can’t. And, like Kiminalaska9363, I agree. “Yay another video”. I told my husband I didn’t think you’d have one up today because you did one over the weekend. A good start to a Monday morning for me. Now I’ve finished my (first) coffee, it’s 8:18am and I’d better get moving. Silkie says ‘hi’. Catching up so just watched several of your videos. I think this is the one where you mentioned you wish the glue gun worked with other glue bottles??? Anyway, in Jennifer McGuire’s intro to the glue gun, she found that the large Gina K Connect glue bottle worked in it, so it may be worth checking out some other brands. I just received mine and haven’t even had a chance to use it yet….😢

Allergies are the worst. My youngest has them bag and gets the nose bleeds too. The nose spray sometimes aggravates that. So it's choosing breathing or bleeding lol
