Two overriding impressions on this episode. It's heartwarming to see Gene Vincent still appreciated by good people like yourself, Mack. I feel he's the '50s rockabilly artist most influential on the '70s/'80s cusp revival explosion. Without which ... x, y and z. Without which - I would have certainly spent more of my lunch money on lunch. Or clothes. Naked and emaciated, I gravitated to my true calling of bad tempered forest ape man recluse. And it's life-affirming that you boldly strode forward with that marching band white label jape without pause for thought toward honouring the respective schools with a poignant gift. That would be so square. One up for the cool kids and the bad tempered forest ape men. Hurrah! And indeed WAAIIIOOOAAARRRGGGHHH!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this video, piles upon piles of 78s,45s and picture discs all a real treat and I bet you were having great fun. And to cap it all off that funny story about the records with blank labels and how another collector thought he struck gold after you wrote on them, that was f****ing hilarious thanks Mack.

Haven't watch the full video yet but what i already see makes me wish to make a trip to Oklahoma. Man what a lot of stuff to dig through, i think i might have some trouble to get all this stuff home to Germany.

Usually always had my carry-on suitcase full of cylinders. Have been doing this for two decades and it forces you to shrink down your selections to the bare minimum if you want to take it all along with you on the airplane. Even once had to take Lufthansa to court (successfully) for damages.

That was Stuff Smith, not the comic book character name. A favorite among the Hot Jazz crowd.
