Рыбы пахнет рыбой, мясо пахнет мясом.Свинина и говядина пахнет по разному, согласна? Ну почему вы постоянно гоаорите , когда готовите мясо, надо кдалить "рыбный" запах??? Разве мясо у вас хранится рядом с рыбой и впитывает запах рыбы? Не понимаю! Что такое "куриная сущность", приправа? Из чего она?

The word used was 腥. It's used to refer to the specific smell of meat or blood. The translation isn't perfect but generally ok.
