Newly Elected Congress MP from Inner Manipur Lok Sabha seat, Prof Angomcha Bimol Akoijam was the last speaker on July 1. Close to midnight, Akoijam, thundered inside the house, for the first time a MP from the violence hit land spoke on the violence since May 2023, accused the PM Modi of maintaining a silence that reflected a "reminder of Rashtra Chetna that excludes people".
