"We'd play Cowboys and India--uhrm... C-cowboys and...Germans..." My life is over. I actually laughed out loud at something in a Mary Kate & Ashley movie. A joke that funny has no place in a movie like this.

Honestly that is a pretty good representation of how home insurance companies work. It's basically there job to find any loophole, no matter how small or seemingly irrelevant, to deny you coverage. I called to get a crack in my house fixed caused by a busted sewer. They claimed that part of my house was a "veranda" added after the house was built and that they didn't cover that. It's a bedroom that's been there since the day I bought the house and was there when their broker inspected the house when I bought it. The guy basically made it up but since they refused to talk to my broker about this subject or send anyone out for a second opinion I was basically fucked unless I was willing to get lawyers involved.

Wow, I would've been ALL OVER the internet, telling my story & making sure they lose a lot of business. That is B.S. You bought the house & paid the insurance for who knows how long. You expect to be covered. 🤨

The cute pun on the movies title puts a smile on your face. Then that smile disappears when you realize what the movie the title is making a pun out of is about. Then a look of horror forms on your face when you realize what that old movies historical significance is about. Then the pained looks on the Olsen twins faces suddenly seems fitting.

I need to revisit this one, but I do remember that this was filmed back to back or around the same time as Double, Double Toil and Trouble (and possibly To Grandmother's House We Go) when they were in Canada - and I think they also did exterior shots for their direct-to-video series, The Adventures of Mary Kate and Ashley. Why I know this tidbit of information, I don't know.

19:14 Mel Brooks' Silent Movie parodied that cliché of doing somehting pointless and ridiculous solving all problems, when the crew wants to get, say, Liza Minelli, they break in into set where she's filming WEARING FULL PLATE MAIL, and, seeing that, she immediately agrees because logic. I'm still baffled how many movies make breaking in somewhere using horses, carriages or frickin' knight armor, immediately makes everybody agree with the heroes and do what they wished.

One thing I don’t get about this movie is how Steven let his daughters go off with a complete stranger, which we later find out is George, to the ranch. I guess it wasn’t a big deal since Steven wound up driving along side them, but still. None of them knew who he was at first. This is otherwise a good movie.
