@@StarHorderIt actually depends on the AV. Not sure about MaxTac's but several Arasaka AVs from one of Takemura's missions are surprisingly rideable in the current patch. At least until you fall off that is.

netrunner can handle them too on very hard with 20 body or reflex

Full cyberware body melee builds can handle them really easy. I've managed to kill 5 waves of MaxTac just with shotgun and gorilla arms. You heal like crazy, hp goes up to almost 1k and every 15-20s you're immune to damage for 15 seconds with berserk cyberware.

Sandy Samurai with Byakko and 20 body can basically live forever vs MaxTac if you don't over exert yourself. My record is 20 min but I'm sure I could last even longer if I'm disciplined.

I remember cutting maxtac squads without any issue, I was untouchable. Now, in phantom liberty, they finally are able to kill me without too much effort. It really fits the theme of "there's always someone stronger". Smasher still sucks ass though.

I still remember the first time i got attacked by max tac i double jumped and sprinted across a couple of roof tops and jumped down to a footbridge and a single Mantis operator sandevistan sprinted stright up to me, i won the sword foght some how but i almost died about 4 times.

It gets mentioned if you play a certain part of the story, which is part of one of the two endings so you can miss it: basically when there's a Cyberpsycho, nobody wants that shit to go wild and Maxtac is allowed to intervene with no repercussion. Play the expansion. If it wasn't obvious, Kurt isn't just a warlord, he's a businessman, there's an amount of facade to what he does.

My 20 body 20 reflexes 20 tech 18 cool with apogee sandevistan/biodyne berserk and byakko katana build can beat the hell out of maxtac pretty easily despite that the build still not fully maxed out in terms of cyberware but literally it only takes me few seconds to drop any maxtac group right where they drops
