In case of emergencies a lot of things that are forbidden can be allowed Our safety comes first. So if a female doctor wasn't available or we couldn't ask for one due to an emergency, it's no problem

It's absurd to marry a stranger. 2 people can get to know each other & determine if feelings of love develop to want to proceed with marriage that have nothing to to with sexual relations. Marrying a stranger that you are stuck with until death that turns out that you don't have chemistry with or worse, is dangerous & a toxic person, wtf kinda life is that?

That’s why you get to know them and why it’s through the parents. You’re allowed to get to know someone before marriage as long as you’re keeping it halal and there are family members involved

You can end up with a toxic person even if you know them really well. At times people change and become distant. We have our own permissible way of getting to know someone before marriage that doesn't require dating or meeting up alone.

@@LinLyre agree that family members should be involved, but main thing should be actual couple _themselves_ . at the end only the couple _themselves_ knows how it will work out, like 80%, family like 20%. thats why the couple themselves get to know each other. external family does not ALWAYS know them very well, wont always be able to tell if the couple will get along or whatever. sometimes the 2 wont always manifest qualities (incl. being toxic, being outgoing, being generous, being hardworking, etc) until they are actually in a relationship. and at that point if the other person doesnt like it, they can leave and inform family/stay. but its ur belief, i respect it. to each their own. different methods are valid for different people and different situations.

@@christinehottinger5791 Muslims are just not allowed to date, but halal courtship is allowed and fine. You are completely allowed to get to know your partner before marriage as long as you're following the guidelines that are set. If you don't feel a connection with that person or they did something wrong to you, then you don't have to get married to them either. Forced marriage isn't valid in Islam and is extremely haram (forbidden.) You're allowed to have crushes as well, that's an entirely normal feeling and it's fine as long as you're not crossing any boundaries or limitations.

That’s a very broad rule, there’s literally 50 Muslim countries. How is it toxic if you don’t want to marry someone who doesn’t have the same beliefs as you? Even if it wasn’t prohibited, I would never marry a non-Muslim. Hell, I wouldn’t even marry someone who isn’t Turkish-American because I want to preserve my culture, but that’s just my preference. Also if two married people had different beliefs it would lead to more arguments and their practices would clash.

Isn't Sharukh Khan muslim? Saif Ali Khan muslim ( his second wife karenna kapoor)? Search about their wife religion then see.. okay one example Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi, Rajiv was the ex prime minister of India a hindu and sonia was from Italy a Christian still they got married / explain...in place of supporting these types of people who don't force their religion on each other live peacefully what you all are doing is promoting your toxic rule. A girl doesn't need her parents to be married and same with the guy. If there is no wali (guardian) for the girl then the marriage officiate can become the wali for her (he would still be her non mahram but act as a wali). In terms of chaperoned meetings, there are many reverts who don't have support from parents in that case they just ask their friends to be there or someone else they trust thats female. And vice versa if a man is looking into marriage.
