It has been a long winter and the time has finally arrived to open the pool for the season. The boys are going crazy because they see the pool being opened. They CANNOT wait to start swimming!

@@DaveHolloway-pn1gfhi, i dont know if you asked it from me Dave but our first golden died at the age of 10, but our second one we lost was almost 14 years old! Very rare,and we are so grateful..so he was old..survived cancer at the age of 9 and was operated for his legs.But he was playful and happy until his last day..I dreamed with him since and felt his energy, was so great to feel that.We miss him still so much..Thanks Dave

It's because Chuch is getting older. Same thing happened with my beagle when she reached a certain age (I don't remember exactly when it started, but I do remember it being really noticeable when she hit 10). Doggos get grays/white hair just like us.

To answer the "roob" question, yes. I had a mutt (beagle, dachshund, and probably golden retriever mix) who loved to sun himself, roll in whatever was smelly or could scratch himself on the ground, and would especially rub himself on anything after a bath.

My Golden grandpuppy roobs a lot, but I think Tucker & Todd have him beat. Although, if we didn't live in a desert wasteland, where grass isn't all that common, my Luke might roob just as much. He definitely does the back roob like every ten minutes or so when I take him to a park with grass, so that may be his limiting factor. As for regular roobing, like along walls and couches, and human shins, he does that constantly, any time he sees someone he hasn't seen for over five minutes lol.
