Nezuko knew the sun would harm her from the beginning. In season one, episode two, when Tanjiro returns from his search for materials to build Nezuko a box, she was hiding in a hole deep in a cave.

This is easily one of the most heartwarming scenes in the show. After making a sacrifice to slay Hantengu, poor Tanjiro thought Nezuko was done for just to see her greeting him with a warm “Good Morning”. 🥹

Fun fact : Nezuko didn’t harm in sunlight because she has spider lily flower so that muzan wants to kill nezuko and took her spider lily flower to not get harm from sunlight.
