Ranked is SO BAD. I went 5 - 9 last night and dropped out of diamond--the worst part is that in TWO matches, my co-healers were throwing. Like standing still in front of the enemy repeatedly, throwing.

I feel like Overwatch is just going to slowly deteriorate until it's not fun at all for streamers, which are some of the people keeping a chunk of the playerbase playing. Sad fate.

Being a quick play warrior is a good feeling to me. I just vibe and play despite most of my games feeling high rank sweatiness. I'm looking forward to be grinding mh comp as well this season. Even there, the nature of mh just makes it more casual. Rng is a pain but at least we can mostly blame losses on that.

High level OW is dead. You can queue into the same team 3 times in a row and have diamonds in GM/top500 games, and then wait up to 20 minutes to find another game

quick play overwatch is truly the superior overwatch experience. everyone is just chilling.

I have been a QP warrior for a while, I'd occasionally play ranked with my friends but now that my friends don't play this game anymore I legitimately never play ranked. I don't give a fuck about getting better at this game, I'm just gonna load up some matches, play characters I like, and see if I can do some cool stuff. It's been a much more enjoyable experience than 99% of ranked matches

I still play the same when im in QP, idk how to play more "chilled" i only know how to take over the lobby as a ball otp. Stopped playing comp this season because of balance reasons, and burnout from pve being cancelled. GMs in qp are a bit of a problem though, i enjoy the low effort games, but i get bored stomping diamonds after awhile, thankfully i can play some Diabo 4 until the hame is fixed

Can confirm that rank inflation is too real, I was high plat low diamond on everything then ow2 drops and I ascend to masters 3 on everything. Can't play in my rank cause it doesn't exist anymore lol, all the silver players got boosted into plat so they get shit on

I'm having the worst comp season ever 😭. With tank I'm 1w - 5L First match we genuinely lost . Second match we were completely winning and one of my teammates decided to leave the game. Third game we won the first fight and someone rang the door bell and I had to check that cuz it was important . 4th and 5th I got the worst dps ever . 😭😭😭😭

I played a match of ranked today. Got matched against a 5 stack and got flamed by my teammates, so I threw the match and quit playing Overwatch. Games are supposed to be fun, and that was not fun. I'll never understand the desire of people to actively push their own team to lose.

as a qp’r, I love coming in and reverse 3-0 a game

Obviously a top 500 won't have this issue but, as a plat 4, my QP games always have a Diamond or GM on the other team. I play on PC and I queue with 4 Xbox players, their ranks are; Plat, Silver, Bronze, Bronze. All it takes to lose is one Gm on the other team and it's game over. Something it's more than one though, it can be three Diamonds against us. Sure, you can say it's Quick Play and it doesn't matter, but my friends are COMPLETELY DEMORALIZED from playing TWO GAMES in a row against Gm's. All QP is, is Unranked, it's the same as Ranked but without a rating system. There is MMR though, (matchmaking rating) but Bronze against Diamonds or higher? I had the same problem with Competitive Deathmatch where I kept going against a GM 5 DPS Soldier 76 with Match Rank of Plat??? He obviously won those games with barely 3 deaths and I went 4 - 12... yeah one guy.... for 10+ matches. I'm tired of the MM system, they said they fixed it, but all they did was add the overall match rank for comp.

I only ever play Overwatch to get on quick play since comp is in purgatory with its' matchmaking and lack of friends to play with. Ranking up in this game doesn't feel rewarding either.

8:03 - Okay I've had enough of people saying C9 without knowing what it means. SO - Cloud 9 lost the round (game?) on kings row when a zen back capped the point. A backcap ISN'T a c9. Getting off the objective in OT , ISN'T a C9. A c9 is when you think you team wipe, and push off the objective to play up THEN get backcapped to lose the ENTIRE round (or game).
