The cops completely ignoring the man by the door is the WEIRDEST thing I have ever seen in these videos. It's truly unbelievable.

The innocent young man who was picked up, handcuffed and placed in the car, he handled himself very well. Glad he was proven innocent and let go.

The fact the cops blew right past a random dude standing in the doorway that matched Harriett’s description of the suspect is mind blowing.

She gave a perfect description of the attacker and the police walk right past him at the crime scene. Good Lord.

This story made me sick to my stomach because two nice senior citizens, one a WW2 veteran was killed! This is beyond tragic and sadly, we’ve a lot of these sick kids living among us. People need to be careful and not open their doors to strangers. Especially the most vulnerable, the elderly. This was just most unfortunate. This loving couple were robbed of what little time they had left on this earth. Harriet lost her lifelong love and had to endure all that pain and heartbreak to her grave. No amount of punishment can correct the wrong which was done to them. 😢

The parents are so honest and cooperative. I don't know why, but I adore them so much. They just seem like good, honest people

Can you imaging living into your 90’s, working hard your entire life, and surviving a war, then be murdered in your own home over essentially nothing!! It makes my heart ache for these innocent elderly people!!

Imagine fighting in one of the biggest wars of all time, getting out alive after all your friends were killed, starting a family, making it past your 97th birthday, knowing you’re in the later stage of your life but you’re happy that it’ll be peaceful with your wife, and then randomly someday some sack of shit barges in, beats your elderly wife, and kills you. You die not knowing what is to become of the wife you’ve spent decades with. Un fucking believable. This guy deserves a fate worse than death.

This is one of the saddest cases so far. Living long life together with your soulmate, then being assaulted like this and seeing your loved one killed in front of your eyes. Such a gruesome end for these kind elderly people. I'm so upset...

It was refreshing to see the mother and stepfather being honest and cooperative rather than so many parents who rage on about how their child couldn't possibly be a part of this and were being railroaded. They even noted the blood on his sweatshirt, unlike Aiden Fucci's mother who was scrubbing blood out of her son's jeans after the cops take him in for questioning after he stabbed a girl 114 times.The guy was probably standing around trying to see if the victims were dead

What I find particularly amazing is that one of his victims was able to call for help WHILE HE WAS STILL ONSITE.

The guy they stopped at the beginning was being understanding and the cops were treating him with respect and even took him to where he was walking to. How a interaction like that should go. And bless that mom for not lying for her son. I know it was probably hard. It sounds like the poor lady has been through enough already. I am glad he got life you can tell he doesn't care about anyone but himself. And keeps him from hurting anyone else.

How in the actual world do these officers just walk past this guy…this is insane.

the fear and heartbreak that must run through you when you learn your son is a murderer, and to still stick with your sense of justice and help turn him in..... this woman is a superstar and we should all aspire to look so objectively at situations in our lives

I feel so sorry for his parents. They seemed like honest hardworking people to me. And now they have to deal with the fact that their son did these gruesome acts.

The most amazing part of this case for me is that an elderly woman who had just been viciously attacked on the head, skull fractured, was able to give a perfect description to dispatchers

How crazy it must have been to see the cops roll up thinking you’re going to prison immediately and the cops just nod and walk right past you

The absolute nerve of him to stand there at the door - with the weapon right there!!! What were those cops thinking just walking right by him and not wondering what the f he was doing there? I am filled with respect for Ngor's honest, hard-working, righteous parents. They had no way of knowing why the police were suspicious of their son and how horribky bad it turned out to be, and still answered every question honestly and to the best of their knowledge. I hope they are doing well now.

I can just imagine what Ngor thought as the cops rolled up on the Anderson's home. They rushed past him and he was allowed to just walk away. He must have thought he was the luckiest killer in history.

I've not studied mental illness but I believe this guy had to be experiencing psychosis to stand at that door so calmly.

I'm grateful that the parents were so honest about that being their son and not trying to just say "it wasn't him". The cops ignoring the guy by the door was unbelievable.

His parents are truly good people. I can’t imagine having to have that conversation - that they were so forthcoming was so refreshing - not the usual garbage of people covering for their kids. It especially breaks my heart that the male victim died - he was born the same year as my grandmother and my grandfather also served in WWII. Just heartbreaking.

The accused but innocent guy who got arrested was very calm and capable in the situation. Well done to him as that must have been pretty scary. Also Ngor is pure evil, he clearly does not care what he did and would probably do it again if he was still free. Can't help but feel sad for his family though, the parents seem pretty genuine. RIP to the poor husband, so sad and can't imagine the fear and pain they both endured through that ordeal.

Such a sad story but surprisingly so many heroes in it: Harriet (of course) and Andy, Ngor's parents, the first guy who was detained in the cop car and the officer who immediately said "it's not him", even the 911 operator seemed helpful and compassionate

.. I've watched nearly every EWU video, but this is one of the most heartbreaking cases I've seen. Two perfectly upstanding elders of the community, beaten. Mrs. Harriet begging for help over the phone was gut-wrenching. I could not be happier to hear that Mrs. Harriet was stabilized. My heart goes out to the family. What a twisted and sick monster.

The worst and most painful part is that he's there in the interrogation room feighing innocence while at the same moment there are families out there grieving something he caused due to his greed and an old lady is at that very moment fighting for her life. I’ve been to a few crime scenes & the boy not getting attention in the beginning is pretty normal. He looks like a kid & he was acting nosey, not really menacing. Tunnel vision on emergency calls is a real problem. This was very legitimate and honest.

I can only imagine how horrified the elderly couple must have been. On the other hand I cannot help but point out that Ngor's parents seem to be as honest and straightforward as they can be.
