I was crying thinking this would happen to my dad or mom, my dad always gave us what we wanted even our mom. They said its ok of their money grtting emptied out to make us happy. I was sad and told them not to give us what we wanted.

I as a American that has lived in China for many years, can say that the Chinese people are kind and very helpful to every one, if they see you as a good, Humble person they will go to great lengths to insure to help you in every way they can, I do feel blessed to have lived here and have meet the Chinese people and to have known them as they truly are.

To that one guy who threw the apple back and didn’t bother to answer the old man when he asked if he could make it a little cheaper, I hope it taught him a bit of something to watch that lady immediately gave the old man a bag full of apple right in front of his eyes. For him to willingly ruin that apple knowing a bruised one will not sell instead of being a decent human and give it away to someone who needs it, guess what, karma is a bitch.

The contrast between social experiments here in the US and here in these videos is so stark. I long for the day I find myself in a high context society like this. Everybody is so caring and hardly selfish. What a beautiful thing to see.

Right. I just saw a social experiment in the U.S.. where a guy met 3 strangers on the street and gave them brand new cars - more than I could ever afford in my lifetime and one of the people didn't even say thank you.... I had to stop giving to people here because of how unbelievably ungrateful they are.

If they think it might be a social experiment they will still do a good deed so that time that it is not TreeMan they would have actually helped someone in need. There's so much to learn from these kind of social experiments

You all are right... Actually I wrote this because Treeman only shows the people who are helping and not those who run away denying to help. I think they should show such people so that the children watching Treeman's videos get acknowledged that everyone in this world is not the same and that everyone is not the person who they(the children) are imagining during watching these videos I'm saying this 'cauz many a times children reach a wrong person in order to get help So, I think in a 'social experiment' everything should be shown, that is, the people who helped, the people who ran away, also the people who bad mouthed with the person asking for help I've not written this to hurt anyone's feelings... Hope you'll understand

I feel bad now not even look at the girl sitting in front of Wholefoods totally ignored her. I wanted to give her a bag of my organic chips on my way out but thought ops I only bought one bag. Never again. I will stop and look at the story of every person in need from now. We have so much, a small token of thank you, giving and encouragement may change that person forever & give them hope! That makes us HUMAN!

Let me tell you a story. Last Year, we (my family) decided to give a family a grocery for Christmas. We are not rich, my parent don't have jobs, only my 2 sisters work and both are fresh Graduates. The Grocery worth is just 700-800 pesos, I'll be honest, that is just like 1/5 of our expenses for Christmas. At first, I thought that the family would be happy, but after I gave them the gifts, They were so so happy, i never expected them to be that happy. That Gift Givkng suddenly stopped this year and I promised my parents that when I get a job, I would give foods as well

Definitely restored my faith in humanity. I love this channel and this grandpa, you guys always touch my heartstring. Loved that generous lady with the bag of apples but shame on that salesperson who purposely threw the apple when grandpa can’t afford it.
