So, I'm set up on a New York City sidewalk, asking people to sing...
"Will you sing with me? Will you sing a song with me? Will YOU sing with me?"
Finally, Chris comes walking along. A real trooper, he picks an Elvis classic, and proceeds to sing a song dedicated to his Mother. Touching, right? Next thing I know, I've got a set of twins approaching who want to sing a song nearly twice as old as they are! Fantastic!
Not enough for ya'? Afterwards, wouldn't you know it, a rockstar family happens to be walking by. No stranger to a microphone, the roof is blown off the makeshift concert area I brought along, and I couldn't be happier to have been a part of it.

I was touched by the young man who dedicated the Elvis song to his mother. Even though they're not in good terms he still loved her enough to dedicate a song she loves. I really hope his mother was watching, and that things will work out between them.

as soon as the first guy started singing i just started to tear up. he wasn't a beyonce, but I saw his emotion and his heart and his humanity and the melody and lyrics cradled that and now i'm emotional. and those supportive women mouthing the words nearby with gentle smiles also warmed my heart. such a small moment.

What I appreciate about Cayleigh is that even though she's professional and obviously very talented, she actually manages to avoid oversinging the song while still showing off what she's got. A lot of the big jumps actually sound more like her jumping around to find a comfortable register in a song that's in the original key for a male voice that sings half of it in falsetto.

Omg, everyone that dang wad amazing! The 21 year old who sang for his mother, the kid Asian twin boys, and Cayleigh, the soulful singer raised in a musical rock band family. That was so great! Ty Reggie too! I've seen quite a few of your videos, bit singing for your parents is a great idea. Reggie you're so funny when you asked the twins where they met, and then said in the womb, and then their reactions, ha ha ha.

I’m gonna pray for the young man who wasn’t in communication with his mom. It was clear he was hurting. Poor thing. I sure hope they work it out. The twins were adorable, and the lady who sang September was excellent. I’m not so sure Reggie recognized the band name Foreigner though. Lol. Dad was a true rock star!
