Mine was love marriage. I did not have any house at that time. The girl’s parents had put up a condition to get her daughter married to me only if I buy a house anywhere. It was Covid time and I pushed myself to purchase the house. For sometime after marriage, I used to think why I purchased the house just in the pressure of my in-laws. But today, after 3 years I feel good that I purchased the house at that time as I could not afford to buy a house now. It was a blessing in disguise to me.

In Mumbai, now 1bhk is also minimum 1 crore, not possible to buy before 30s

People who are saying it isn’t wise to buy a house early (with help from spouse, parents + in-laws) will realise later that buying a house gets more and more difficult and then impossible as you keep waiting.

Taking loans is fine but it comes with mental health cost.. Stay debt free if you have already home at your hometwon..

We did the same. Borrowed money from here and there and bought a cheap house of 65L in 2016. This property helped in a big big way when we bought a good house for living.
