Music is blasting more then ever at AFL games. For some sides it is giving them an advantage but I don't think it will go as far as players bringing out their own hit songs. Those days are surely long gone...

Freo does the drums and didgeridoo to thunderstruck. The lights dim and flash purple. Pretty awesome when they get the goals running.

I feel like the modern game is really getting the entertainment formula right. Pregame run through the banner, songs after goals, club song in the changeroom at the end. NOW THEY JUST NEED TO GET THE GAME RIGHT!

Gws have been doing it too. Goal songs bring more personality and excitement when players kick goals, nothing beats country roads and Cameron tho. After the second goal in the qualy the crowd were singing it for like another minute until a free against them got called

I've resorted to watching games on mute as the commentary is complete garbage. Nullifies the music theatrics as well. If your at the game I unserstand it might add an element to the experience. Watching it at home not so much.
