You are a beast Craig. I loved the part with the hidden damage. My 69 Datsun roadster took a hit on the left front corner. It was poorly repaired but I didn't think it was a big deal. Well when I pulled the dash and the sheet metal was tweaked on the back of that it was an ah oh moment. Anyway it turned out the windshield frame had been replaced, the door post was down and twisted etc. All fixed now but yeah. You get the picture. Keep on keeping on. Great video.

Looks great. I finally bought a new welding helmet that came with a cheater lens and you got a light on your helmet 😮. I like the cheater when I am wearing my contacts but when I'm wearing my glasses, I'm so used to looking over them close up that it gets weird. I think the biggest thing is I can see through this new helmet, my old one was horrible.

One method would have been to fix the original ones, they´r are usually better as aftermarket items anyway.

Seems like it would have been easier to repair the oem parts.

You obviously need more tools. A welder that can tack weld a carbon fiber lid to the steel body in order to establish the gaps.
